Welcome to Camping De Veenhoop – your peaceful retreat in the heart of Frisian nature. Here you will find wide open spaces, tranquillity and nature, with spacious pitches, warm hospitality and plenty of water and outdoor activities. Your place to …breathe deeply Our pitches are in a quiet location, many with their own sanitary facilities – ideal if you want a little more comfort. Clean, central sanitary buildings, some with underfloor heating, ensure that you feel completely at home. Pure nature – water, forest and freedom Located right on the edge of the national park, you are only a few steps away from water, walking trails and cycle routes. Birdsong in the early morning, peace and quiet in the evening – you'll feel recharged. Comfort & variety If you want a little more comfort, our safari tents for up to 4 people or chalets for up to 6 offer a nature experience with comfort. For campers with motorhomes, we have spacious, partly paved pitches including waste disposal facilities and charging stations. Family-friendly & active There's plenty of space for children too: a playground, table tennis table, sandpit – and a larger playground just around the corner. If you fancy some water sports, you can go swimming or take a boat trip in the immediate vicinity. More than just camping We are part of a traditional sailing school – hospitality is in our blood. And if you enjoy walking or cycling, we can give you lots of tips for beautiful routes through Friesland's countryside and villages.
