A place of relaxation
Reception speaks English and German as well as French.
Very friendly and helpful.
The place is (in the low season) absolutely quiet, pure relaxation.
Shopping facilities no longer within walking distance.
Excursion to Bordeaux possible by bike (1/4h) and train (1h).
Ideal for tours through the vineyards.
An excellent place with a bicycle.

You feel at home at the campsite and can go on great excursions. The welcome is warm and very helpful.

The town of Pauillac is not a must-see
Great Camping Muncipal, good for visiting the wineries and cycling
Super friendly, large pitches, clean and quiet. Ideal for excursions in the region. Nearby a great restaurant with a Michelin star. Of course, the price of the restaurant is accordingly, but fairly priced.

Typical municipal
Everything there, everything clean without frills. Very quiet location directly on the Gironde but without access to the river. Very large pitches separated by thick hedges, open to the outside. Bread can be ordered at reception. Otherwise no sale. Center and supermarket in about 1 km. LIDL approx. 2 km. We used the place for very nice bike tours in the Medoc to the wine castles and felt very comfortable.
