"beautifully situated place by the river - We arrived shortly before the end of the midday rest period. If there are more than two campers waiting, it becomes very difficult to park. You block the whole way for other vehicles. Reversing with a caravan is also almost impossible. After checking in, you can choose a free pitch. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but are clean. You have to wait a little longer for hot water. If you want to leave early, you should not order baked goods. Delivery is not until around 9am. A good place to stay overnight.

"Very friendly and uncomplicated - We spontaneously spent a night here with our motorhome. We felt very comfortable. The place is right on the river. 18,50Euro in the low season.

"Good place for a stopover and vacation - We stayed at the campsite unannounced for one night at the beginning of September 2018 and May 2019 on our return journey. We received a friendly welcome and were able to choose our pitch. The location on the Loue is beautiful. The campsite stretches along the banks of the river, so there are many pitches with direct access to the riverbank. Part of the site is occupied by mobile homes and permanent campers, but there are plenty of tourist pitches available. The pitches are mostly large and well laid out. Some of them are very uneven and often form real hollows, which could quickly turn into small pools when it rains. The sanitary facilities we used are friendly and also take the needs of children into consideration (special toilets, showers, washbasins, baby changing facilities...). The facilities are getting on in years but worked well. You have to wait a bit for hot shower and rinse water. There is paper in front of the toilet cubicles. The facilities were well cleaned. Unfortunately, the snack bar was not open, although the site was actually still well occupied. It was not possible to find a replacement in the small village of Parcey. The shopping facilities on the site are limited (only the essentials), bread, rolls, croisants etc. have to be ordered in advance and are really good. We were generally satisfied guests and could well imagine choosing this campsite as a base for excursions in the Jura.

"Good place to stay overnight - Very well located for the way to the south or back. Unfortunately, reception closes at 19:00, so plan your arrival accordingly. The pitches are quite large and overgrown with grass. Unfortunately, the swimming pool closes quite early, so the children had to go swimming in the nearby river in the evening (which was also possible). Bread is unfortunately only available to pre-order (which is a bit surprising on a site of this size). Sometimes very noisy due to party groups and entertainment.

"Good place to spend the night... - ...if you are on your way south. Nice pool, but unfortunately no good sanitary facilities. Situated on the loue, a shallow, very clean little river where there are huge trout in the slightly deeper areas...

"Intermediate station - A stop-off point for us on the way south. Close to the highway, flat, partly parceled out, partly free pitches, well frequented in the main travel season, but there is always a spot. In cooler weather (e.g. in the low season) the draughty sanitary facilities are a nuisance.

Profil

As you would expect, Les Bords de Loue campsite is located on the banks of the Loue river, not far from the village of Parcey and the town of Dole (Jura). This region is characterised by the many rivers that …flow from the mountains through the hilly landscape to the west and south. The campsite looks very green and attractive due to the many trees on the site. You will receive a warm welcome from the owners or their helpful staff in the spacious reception area. You will immediately notice that the campsite is not only green, but also very spaciously laid out. The pitches are located between the trees, which provide plenty of shade. Part of the campsite is reserved for motorhomes, but the majority consists of pitches for caravans. The pitches are at least 80 m² in size and all have electricity. You can rent various types of accommodation at the campsite. The simplest ones (bungalow tents, some chalets and holiday homes) have to make do without their own toilet. Fortunately, most of them have running water and sometimes a shower. The chalets and mobile homes are more luxurious and have their own shower/toilet. The campsite has a large swimming pool with slides, surrounded by a large terrace with sun loungers. You can also splash around in the river. In the high season, the restaurant is open to guests. They also serve pizzas and some à la carte dishes. The bar has a terrace next to the pool.
