The pitches themselves are large and shady.
However, the campsite is on a slope, which means that the path from the beach to the pitch is really very strenuous and you are lost without wedges when aligning the caravan.
The site is very clean and the... staff are very friendly.
The sanitary facilities, and this is the most important thing, are also very clean. They are cleaned several times a day.
The food on the campsite is very good and the price is perfectly acceptable. The pools are also very clean.
Unfortunately, the campsite is full of Dutch people, some of whom don't follow the rules. They walk all over the pitches, are very loud and behave like kings at mealtimes.
In summary, the campsite is recommended if you don't mind it being a bit noisy. Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with the weather and it rained several times. Unfortunately, we then had to learn that the site has no canalized surface drainage and the water from the whole site simply runs down the paths towards... the lake. This is where the Lago pitches are located. We had mud and puddles in front of the caravan and underneath it. This was not only unpleasant, but also meant that there were lots of flies, especially when the sun came out again.
The relatively new wash house 3 was absolutely great. There was always enough hot water and the cleaning staff kept it in good condition. I always wondered why they used so much water when cleaning. If you went there out of hours, you could see why: thousands of flies in every toilet and washbasin. They were simply "flushed away". Perhaps the lighting should be controlled with motion detectors, at least outside the main season.
As nice as the wash house was, there was no way to empty the campers' toilets free of charge. There was a machine opposite. This could be done for 2 euros, but without a chemical refill. I found that a bit harsh.
Cycling there isn't much fun either. The footpath/cycle path on the main road is overcrowded, dangerous and poorly constructed. For other routes, you share the road with cars.
The passage along the beach is at its worst in the La Quercia area and is an imposition on foot. It gets better towards Peschiera del Garda, but is also overcrowded. Neither cycling nor walking is fun there.
There is everything you need on the campsite, at the upper end of the price range, but that is normal. There are also discount stores nearby.
Conclusion: Great for families with small children and a pitch near the pool. We did not get to know/use all the offers. ABBA musical evening show was great.
* Lake: Beautiful sandy beach, shallow, ideal for children. But there are also stones, so pack your bathing shoes. Depending on the pitch, the walk to the lake is... very long (approx. 900m downhill, 18 min with children). Bicycles, electric scooters, buggies or handcarts are essential.
* Pool: Many different. Pools and slides for all ages. Many lifeguards on site, everything clean. In the low season there were free sunbeds (incl.). Next to the pool is the theater, restaurant and ice cream parlor. Nuggets with fries (8.50€).
* Sanitary facilities (no. 7) are clean, open concept, very hot water, automatic shut-off. The other wash houses are more modern, with children's bathrooms and heated.
* Classic pitch -> no water/waste water. Under trees, pleasantly shady, on meadow. Good proximity to the pool, far to the lake. WLAN was good. Surprisingly quiet. Chocks/plates are needed as the pitches are on a hill and uneven. Chemical toilet machines (2€) available, too far away from Classic pitches.
* Supermarket has bread rolls, prices are very high.
* Unfortunately, dogs pee and poop everywhere and some owners don't clean it up. That's a shame, because it's really annoying and the campsite can't help it - but it detracts from the vacation feeling when the wind starts to stink.
* I think it's great that attention is paid to waste separation. All in all, it was a great vacation. We would go there again in a heartbeat because of the great, well-kept sandy beach and the proximity to Lazise. If you like shows, you'll get your money's worth here. What made... us doubt whether the campsite was really right for us was the size and the crowds in high season. It was already very crowded, which was particularly annoying at the pool. It wasn't always easy to get a (!) sun lounger. Even in the evening during the show it was almost impossible to get a chair if you didn't want to stand or sit in the restaurant.
Perhaps it is more suitable for us when our child is a bit older. It was just too big for 8-year-olds to walk to the entertainment or something like that on their own.

The pitches are divided into zones depending on the day of arrival. For this reason, you only receive the exact pitch number when you check in.... Unfortunately, our pitch had quite a steep slope. As we had booked a comfort pitch, a direct connection to the gray water should also be possible. On site, however, this was impossible due to the slope and the only possible positioning of the car. The central location on the pitch was very convenient, as both the path to wash house 5 and the beach or swimming pool were within easy reach. Unfortunately, wash house 5 has not yet been renovated and does not have an extra children's area. The supermarket on site has everything you need on the shelves, but at quite steep prices. We went shopping by bike or car to Lazise. Lidl approx. 3km Despar approx. 3.5km. The gas station directly at the campsite is quite cheap in terms of gas/diesel prices. The beach is clean and is supervised by the security service. Boats/jet skis can be hired. However, it is advisable to wear water shoes. The first 5 meters in the lake are quite rocky. The lake slopes gently, so you can easily stand 25 meters from the shore. The beach party with fireworks takes place there every 2 weeks on Mondays. About the surrounding area: Lazise and the surrounding villages are always worth a visit. Especially because of the ice cream! You can take the ferry from the harbor in Lazise.
It is quiet at night from 23.00h. If this is disturbed, the security service will be on site within minutes. Where else do you get that. Cars over lunchtime... Not allowed. This is reminiscent of vacations in Italy in the 80s and 90s. They should rethink this as soon as possible. Lake...You don't have to come here in midsummer for the lake alone. Murky water. Feels like 30 degrees. Algae and seaweed etc. Pitches rather small. Hedges and privacy protection from neighbors...not so much. Narrow roads and paths to the pitches.Camping Made in ItalyThe perfect place to enjoy Bela Italia for a few days. But not for a 2-week summer vacation.

It is a large, but very beautiful and well-maintained campsite with a very good infrastructure. Most of the sanitary buildings are recent and were always very clean around the clock.
The ladies (and gentlemen) at reception... were all very friendly and courteous and went out of their way to find us a nice pitch. This effort deserves special praise.
The only flaw is that some of the pitches are very sloping, for which you definitely need leveling wedges.
We often ate in the Al Teatro restaurant (more like a beer garden), which serves delicious food at fair prices. We didn't like the La Terrazza restaurant as much, as the choice of dishes is relatively limited and the prices are a bit higher.
Our pitch was close to the supermarket, whose bakery had a wide range of products in the morning and which also had everything else you need on vacation.
