"Campsite with good facilities and an appealing ambience - From April 27 to May 10, 2026 The campsite is located right next to the A8 highway and directly on the Ampersee. Despite the proximity to the highway, you can hardly hear any traffic (45 - 47 decibels, like the sound of a stream), as a high protective wall and numerous trees effectively dampen the noise. As a result, we didn't feel disturbed during the day or in the evening and the atmosphere is relatively quiet. The reception was very friendly, the operators are helpful and courteous. The site itself is lovingly landscaped with small hedges and bushes, which makes for a pleasant and natural atmosphere. There are both large and smaller pitches on grassy ground, which are either shady or sunny, depending on your preference. Fresh water points are located near the pitches and electricity connections are available either directly at the pitch or in the immediate vicinity. The sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and were always clean during our stay. The large showers have seating and several hooks for hanging up clothes or towels. Showering costs 1 euro for 4 minutes of use. There are a total of six wash cubicles, eight showers, eight toilets and eight washbasins, which ensures that guests are well catered for. Overall, the campsite offers a relatively quiet location with good facilities and an appealing ambience - ideal for visitors who want to combine nature and comfort. There is a restaurant attached to the campsite, but it was still closed at our time (end of April). Drinks such as beer, wine, soft drinks, mineral water and milk are available daily in the office. In the high season, fresh bread rolls and daily newspapers are also available in the morning. Good WLAN throughout the site and free of charge

"Towing costs 600 Euro !!! - Towing costs 600 euros for a coffee there as a stopover. No thanks, never again !!!!

"Super familiar place - Unfortunately we were passing through and could only stay q night, but we will definitely come back.nice also for dogs, because they are allowed a little further, 20m approx. into the water and a walk is possible.

"Not recommended - The lady in service is worst Germany ever saw. In fact ,i think she has no value of being a human. Maybe you won't care the small business chance from me, but you definitely a SHAME to all Germany country and German people! Dear all readers, please take a small time to read my story.... I arrived at 12:30, service is closed from 13 to 15 pm. I met the lady hy chance, want to ask her short information. She reminded several times, she was in break time,which I totally respected, then I 'begged ' her,I just ask one sentence, 'does it have free place for tent,because my child is sick, I better save time to find another place if here is full.' Again, she emphasized her break. Then, I waited for 2 hours till open at 15pm. And waited in line. The lady expressed greeting face to the couple behind me(which is ridiculous!! ), and showed me cool face, she treated me as air. The lady has 2 faces to treat the persons. Anyway, finally I waited till my turn, and she just replied me one sentence with half minute, tent area is full!!!! think she must fool me, let me wait for 2 hours, just for the half minute ,especially my child is sick and painfully waiting for 2 hours. Every mother has rights to be angry with it!!! You can treat adults anything you want, but you can't do that for a child!!?? I think every person, or mother, who has basic morality won't behave like this. If German government can judge a business person with a moral standard, she should be got out of the business for ever! By the way, lady, you told me in your email,you wrote 13-15 pm has break.NO,NO,NO !! In the email on Aug. 13rd to me, here is original email 'Don’t be too late on your arrival, between 3 pm and 4 pm is the highest chance, there`s another free place for you.'

"Small but nice - Nice little place by the lake. We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose a pitch. The operator went with us in the rain to look at the place!!! The pitch was more than sufficient for the caravan with awning and car. Sanitary was always top clean! Conveniently located near the highway. The highway is audible but we did not find it disturbing. Perfect for transit but also for a visit to Munich or to explore the area. S-Bahn can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Restaurant found to be good. Only downside: showers cost extra, 4 minutes 1€. But we will definitely be back!

"Conveniently located place - This is the second time we've been there on our way through, and we've always received a very friendly welcome. The place is very suitable as a stopover for the journey, but due to its proximity to the highway, it also has a continuous noise nuisance. The sanitary buildings were always clean and the pitches for short stays are sometimes so big that you can leave the trailer coupled. We will definitely be back.
