Recreation, hiking, cycling, motorcycling and swimming in the Sauer. Pitches are not parceled out and are large. Fresh water available in many places. Sanitary facilities not the newest but in good condition. Trier very worth seeing and not far away. We will go there again.

Showering and eating is associated with physical activity, as the restaurant and shower room are located on a hill. About 100-150m away. This was no problem for us. The most necessary things and bread rolls are available in the restaurant. Otherwise, the nearest supermarket is 6 km away in Luxembourg.
Beautiful, quiet, secluded campsite.
We would recommend the place and would go there again. As Luxembourg is very close, you should also visit the capital.

Beautiful camping right on the river
The campsite is very conveniently and quietly located on the cycle path between the Moselle and Eifel with a beautiful tent meadow directly on the river. The sanitary facilities are accessible with a key, which you get when you register. Shower tokens are no longer available,

Very scenic place !!!
Beautiful campsite directly on the river Sauer, large pitches, ample connections for electricity / water, very friendly operator family, sanitary facilities are always clean, many leisure activities (cycling, canoeing, swimming), Moselle and Saar are easily accessible by car.

We spent a few days fishing at the campsite in June 2019. Very friendly operators, great pitches directly on the Sauer. The sanitary facilities are no longer the newest and should be renovated, but otherwise everything TOP!

Very friendly owners. Beautiful surroundings close to the water. Popular campsite with Dutch people; owners speak German and Dutch. Very happy to come back.

very nice rather simple campsite directly on the Sauer
On our return journey from France, we spent a wonderful few days relaxing in our tent right by the River Sûre. The path to the sanitary facilities is a little far from the campsites and some people may miss the shopping facilities. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed swimming 5 meters from our tent. The "groundsman" is very nice, helpful and uncomplicated. You should all go somewhere else where there is perhaps more comfort. We will be back!

Outdated plant in unkempt condition
We stayed at this site for 5 days because we had planned various cycle tours in the region. Without our own toilet in the caravan, we would have moved on immediately. The pitch on the banks of the Sûre was very nice. Access to the sanitary building is steep and can only be reached via a ramp or very... deep steps. The showers are narrow, outdated and unkempt. After cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner, stick particles stuck to the tiles from the joints. Overflowing garbage bins in a confusing separation system! A campsite that we will not visit again!

The downstairs toilets were renovated in 2017, the men's shower upstairs in 2016 as well as the family shower. Not all renovations can be done in a few years.
But outdated is really different from dirty!!! Our sanitary facilities are cleaned every day. What you call "stick particles" in your report are... paint particles from the joints. They have come off with the high pressure cleaner.
The ladies' showers will be renewed in 2018 (if it is financially feasible).

Beautifully situated in the countryside. Pitches on the riverbank. Suitable as an overnight stop on the way to/from France.

Small close to nature
The site is right on the river. Otherwise it's pretty isolated and the approach is very adventurous. Mainly permanent campers. Pitches for others not parceled out. Sanitary facilities spartan, sufficiently clean. Very nice site operator.

Beautiful place directly on the Sauer
Beautiful pitch, unparceled with sun and shade areas. Very friendly site operators. An interesting address for cyclists and anglers. However, you should be mobile (car, ...) due to the poor infrastructure in the surrounding area.

Very cozy campsite, very clean camping and sanitary facilities, the sanitary facilities as well as the shower facilities are cleaned several times a day, good price-performance ratio, super nice and helpful campsite operator, the restaurant Bunter Bahnhof is definitely worth a visit, delicious food at normal prices, we will definitely come back next year. Nice stopover on the way to or from France. Access is very sporty (brakes/clutch), the food in the restaurant on site is unexpectedly exceptionally good!

Cozy campsite on the Sauer. Very friendly owners. Pitches for tourists directly on the bank or in the second row. Sanitary facilities clean and only accessible with a key, which you receive on arrival (deposit required). The restaurant menu is not very extensive, but the food is tasty. Good starting point for hikes or bike tours. Certainly not a place for someone who needs entertainment every day, but ideal for relaxing.

Mainly used by permanent campers. Not recommended for transients. Reasonable pitch fees in February. Sanitary facilities only open upstairs next to the restaurant in winter. Will not be back.
