Perfect place for anyone who need nothing except the very basic toilet and a water source. Very quiet !
Negatívumok
No infrastructure, but this is what we like. A road is next to the camp site, and there is no fence. You have to watch over the kids.
Beatiful place for anyone who search for nature and no technology :)
This is a very simply equipped place. You have only wooden toilet boxes and a sink with water pump. Everything is very clean, but very primitive. This place is not a camping with infrastructure, but just a campsite, where you can park your caravan or place a tent. There is absolutely nothing here. No... electricity ! Anyway, this is what some people like us search for. I´ve been coming to this plase fo 8 years already. I can reccomend it to anyone who is searching for a nice place, where you can legally camp and make fire. Firewood is difficult to find, even the pace is in the forest area. There is a small town with stores in driving distance (approx 5km), several restaurants nearby, and a beatiful nature for hiking. Dogs are no problem.

Camp site located in the beautiful locolith of the Kokořín Mine
It is not a campsite in the true sense of the word, but rather a forest campsite suitable especially for shorter stays.The sanitary facilities consist only of a pump with cold water and dry toilets.This handicap, however, is fully compensated by the beautiful location where the campsite is located. It... is located between the stream and the forest by the road passing through Kokořínský dol. Two kilometres to one side there is the romantic medieval Kokořín Castle and on the other side there are the rock formations of Kokořínské pokličky, a little behind them the rock formations Hlava and Žába.Nearby there is also the famous restaurant U Grobiána where the film Rebels was shot.Within driving distance is also the mysterious castle Houska according to legend built above the entrance to hell or the famous cave dwellings.Natural beauty and other attractions are much more in the vicinity of the camp, so despite the low equipment camping as such I give a high rating.
