Overall the campsite is kept clean and nicely renovated. The staff is friendly and the pitches are leveld and of an excaptable size. Big pine trees provide shadow over the pitches. The bathrooms and toilets are kept clean and are comfortable to use (tochfree faucets). It's possible to use a saltwater pool but you have to wear a swimcap which you can buy on cite if needed. The landscape around the campsite is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend to visit the river near by, just follow the map you can find near the reception of the campsite.
Negatívumok
The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the light in the bathrooms that were constantly swiched on even during the night. Because of that loads of insects were attracted into the toilets and bathrooms. And the light is a bit uncomfortable if you sleep in a tent.
Beautiful renovated campsite
In my opinion it's a very beautiful campsite and it gets a few more sympathy pints for the cats roaming around. If you are a fan of good quality food we recommend to try their friday dinner. They cook freshly and most of the products are homemade or even homegrown.

A direct hit in the heart of Tuscany
We stayed at the campsite for a week in midsummer 2025. From our point of view it was a hit!
Totally idyllic location with a view over the Tuscan countryside from almost every pitch. The site itself is also very well maintained and attractively designed.
There is a well-kept swimming pool for cooling... off or a dammed river (approx. 1 hour's walk).
Twice a week, the host family organized a big meal for the camping guests. There were regional products as well as oil and wine from the farm. It was very entertaining and delicious.
Overall, we had a great stay and we can recommend the campsite without reservation.

Cancellation just before arrival
Were very excited to read about this campground so in the afternoon reserved tent pitch by phone (tent size, company, name, number of nights etc was noted). 1 hour before arrival we decided to call the campground back to communicate our ETA, only to be told that our spot had since been given away to someone else. "No more space, tough luck." We are frankly shocked at how un-customer friendly someone can be.

There are very few pitches in a family atmosphere. The owners are nice, straightforward and open. For example, our late arrival was no problem. WiFi is available at the house. The site is quite remote for excursions into Tuscany: you often have to drive the same winding roads.
