The architecture is bright and welcoming, but not overly fancy, so it still feels like camping and doesn’t turn into an overpriced resort.
We felt the same way about the campground’s layout:
Plenty of space, simple in design, but neat, clean, well-organized, and simply what we consider camping to be. The individual sites consist of a combination of grass and gravel. They really put some thought into this. Very good.

You can tell right away that it’s lovingly maintained and managed; the sites are a comfortable size and well laid out (not too rigid, not too cramped).
What’s particularly striking—even though we were there with a camper van—is that there are plenty of good,... spacious spots for tents, too!
Some of the sites are shaded, others are in the sun—perhaps they could plant a few more trees here for the future.
The restrooms are always clean, and there are plenty of hooks for towels and toiletries :)
We appreciated the quiet and relaxed atmosphere at the campground, where we still felt welcome and at ease even with children.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the great location right next to the public sunbathing area by the lake (which, by the way, also has a great playground). In the nearby village, you can pick up essentials at the village store or stop for a bite to eat at one of the surrounding restaurants. As we hadn't filled the fridge yet, the vending machines with various food from the region came in very handy. We spent five wonderful days hiking and swimming at this campsite.
