Very remote, no catering nearby. But that's also complaining on a high level
with its own beach
The access road is quite narrow and so is the exit, which is quite a challenge with our very long trailer. Paved pitch, clean sanitary facilities, hot shower (€1) and the small sandy beach is simply amazing! Wonderfully quiet in the low season and a good starting point for excursions, e.g. to Kylemore Abbey.

We came to the place after we had left another place because of san problems! But the manager assured us that her site was clean! Luckily I didn't understand everything, but everything was SUPER!

Very nice place by the sea
Renvyle Beach campsite was our number one Ireland favorite before we actually decided to travel Ireland. The site is actually very conveniently located on a beautiful sandy beach and strategically placed for visiting Ireland's main attraction, Kylemore Abbey. We were greeted at reception by an elderly... lady who exuded a rather British charm but was nevertheless very cautiously friendly. We were free to choose our pitch and opted for an unparcelled pitch in front of the hill bordering the beach. There are paved pitches for larger motorhomes, but almost all of them were occupied. The sanitary facilities were relatively small, but completely adequate. They were always clean. Free WiFi was available in the area directly around the sanitary facilities. Overall, the site was very clean and we would be happy to recommend it to others.

Banger !!!! The location is unbeatable. Directly on a super beach...there are no parceled out pitches. Everyone pitches where they like. It works really well and no one is in each other's way. This is still camping as it was originally intended. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. There is... a washing machine and dryer. But no shopping facilities on site. But everything is there in Clifden...Aldi...Lidl...:-) Not a full-size all-inclusive CP...but a real dream. As I said, the sandy beach is between 5 (!!) and 100 meters away, depending on the pitch. Perfect for dog owners because, like everywhere else, dogs are allowed on the beach. Be careful with dogs that still have a certain hunting instinct...next door is a meadow with an estimated 10 million rabbits. Our dog managed to get there once. Nothing happened...but it took me quite a while to catch her again. Especially great... sitting outside in the evening sun and watching the sunset on the beach. It's almost more kitschy in real life than in any project. So if you want camping without the hassle in fantastic surroundings... Absolutely highly recommended.
