In the low season, the pitch was still a little sparsely occupied. However, many other campers arrived at the same time as us and so there was no time to walk around the site and choose a pitch. We therefore had to make our choice based on the site map. Some of the pitches have a view of the sea, are... level and have an electricity connection in the immediate vicinity. Fresh water is only a few steps away. However, the caravans and mobile homes are sometimes very close together. We were close to a very new and well-kept sanitary building with plenty of toilet cubicles, spacious showers and full bathrooms for the whole family. There were also several well-equipped kitchenettes and dining areas. A special service was the vending machine, which empties, cleans and refills the toilet cassette with new chemicals for little money. There is also a public indoor swimming pool right next to the site and a well-stocked store where you can also buy bread rolls in the morning. The town of Borgholm was still very sleepy at the end of May. But there are good cycle paths nearby and you can quickly reach the northern end of the island by car as part of a day trip. We spent two lovely days here and can recommend the site without reservation.

Camping
We stayed at the campsite for one night. The reception was friendly. The pitches are big enough. The sanitary facilities are pleasantly clean, unfortunately there are too few for the number of people on the site. The site is close to the pedestrian zone and there are good cycling opportunities in the surrounding area.
