"Not for longer stays. - If you want peace and quiet, you should avoid this place in the high season. Guests are primarily French families with children. There is a lot on offer for them. But this is of course associated with noise. During the day, you can cycle to the very beautiful Montpellier (7 km) or escape to the naturally overcrowded beach (5 km). In the evening, it gets noisy the closer you are to the evening entertainment program. However, the families like it. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are very poorly maintained. Unfortunately, the externally friendly staff cannot compensate for this.

"Never again - We stayed with our caravan at this campsite near Montpellier for five nights at the end of August. Unfortunately, our expectations were disappointed in almost all respects. The sanitary facilities are unsightly and often unclean. The separate flushing and children's sanitary area is unlit and unergonomic. When rinsing, the dirty water easily runs onto our own feet and the low height and the large distance between the basin and the edge gave us back pain after a short time. To make matters worse, a double socket on the wall in the sanitary area at a height of approx. 1m was defective. Live wires were sticking out of the plaster into the room where most of the children were running around. A makeshift "repair" with adhesive tape was only carried out after three days. As the conditions on the campsite give little reason to be happy, there are mainly short-term campers and groups of young people who keep the noise level high at night. Due to the direct proximity to the two-lane main road towards the sea and the highway Nimes <-> Barcelona, the campsite is particularly suitable for people who are passing through and do not have high demands. The pitches are not huge but our 7.60m long caravan fitted in well. There is a shared water point about every 50m without hose connections. There are no waste water connections. ATTENTION: at the reception on the first day you are asked to pay in advance for the entire period - despite a deposit! Apparently the operator often has problems with disappointed guests who change their mind at short notice. As we don't know anything like this from other campsites, this confirms our overall impression of "Camping Eden". Unfortunately not recommended for longer than one night.
