Beautiful location with a view, very nice and quiet
Monte Ortu
Beautiful site near Lumio, between Calvi and Ile Rousse. There is one area with a view of Lumio and one with a view of the sea. There are both shady and sunny spots in both areas. However, the sea side was much more popular and better attended. You have a view of the bay of Calvi, but the sea is still... relatively far away from the campsite and is best reached by car. However, there is a pool on the site. There is also a tennis court on the site. The sanitary facilities were fine, the staff very friendly. During or shortly before our stay there seemed to be construction work going on, the pitches on the sea side were divided into plots and electricity and lighting were being installed. Fortunately, the lighting was not working on the sea side where we were staying.
