"Underground wash houses - One star, with a lot of good will. We were just passing through for one night. And, to be honest, I didn't think it was possible! First of all, the place is pretty much in "the middle of nowhere". However, the man at reception was very friendly. The restaurant was also okay, and the staff there were also friendly. Now to the pitch. The size was fine, but there was a tree in the middle. Okay, no problem for one night, but if you want to put up an awning or tent, it's definitely not possible. We didn't use the pool, but the pool seemed fine. And why is there only one star? Quite simply! The wash houses are underground. Very small, very cramped. The toilet cubicles are extremely small. You can hardly turn around. Once you are inside, you realize that unfortunately there are no toilet seats. Nowhere! Unfortunately, there are not only no toilet seats but also no toilet brushes. Anyone can imagine what the toilets look like after a short time. It is inexplicable to me how the washhouses can be left to rot like this. The place is not exactly cheap and was almost fully booked. There should be enough money to renovate the wash houses. Even if the wash houses are renovated at some point, we still won't come back. The site is simply too remote. I couldn't find any cycle paths or anything similar in the vicinity. There is also no lake or anything similar. Consequently, the leisure facilities in the area are rather limited.

"Dirty, loud, expensive and unfriendly - Sorry, but you should avoid this camping chaos. Absolute chaos when registering, bad paths, bad pitches, the toilets and showers at the lowest level. Also very dirty. We had booked 4 days but left after one night.

" - the washrooms are mixed male/female, and depending on the washroom, the showers/washbasins/toilets are together. The sanitary facilities are cleaned too quickly: walls dirtied with M.... for 3 days. Telephone network so bad that campers have to leave the campsite to hope to get a signal (whatever the telephone operator). Miniclub limited to 30 children (not mentioned on the site), so much so that in August, when there are a lot of children, parents were 'at war' twice a day to ensure that their child could take advantage of the kids' club (even though it's included in the rental price), resulting in stress during meals to be on time, or parents abandoning the idea of the kids' miniclub to avoid ruining their day, and verbal arguments between parents because nothing was organized by the campsite to take care of children on arrival.. and some of them cut the queues! For some, it's the only time they can be alone with their spouse. Pools are nice, but small and cold, and there's no lifeguard (mentioned only on arrival). One person is there only for the big slide, at certain times. Several children had bloody spines from the big slide. Lack of lighting near the bar's bouncy castle, resulting in a broken dad toe. The benches (for the whirlpool baths) are inlaid into the pool, but they're white in color, so they're hard to see, so several children hurt themselves, jumping halfway onto them... The snack bar ran out of food very early on. The children's games are nice (Carabouille type). Nice evening entertainment (1 very good show (magician), then games, music groups, etc.) Quiet campsite, lost in the fields with beautiful mountains in the distance: jogging on the flat with no worries. In Montarlier there's a large Intermarché supermarket, enough to do your shopping 3 times a week (there's a fridge for hire on the campsite). A mobile-home customer left 3 days before the end of his stay, which he had already paid for, because there was nothing to keep him there... In short, despite the campsite's proximity to my home, I won't be going back. My rating is in line with what you'd expect from a 4-star campsite, especially at the rates you'd paid. Nothing justifies 4 stars given that even the pool is dangerous (benches not very visible and unsupervised).
