We were there at the end of September / beginning of October for 10 days with a medium-sized caravan and dog. The operators / staff were very nice and helpful when booking and on site. Rather average, but well-maintained campsite, which is mainly used by permanent campers within gray windbreaks (you... just have to like it). We found the vacation pitches to be rather small and sometimes "crammed in" between the permanent campers. Other pitches in the immediate vicinity are nicer. Most of the pitches are sunny and have electricity, water and waste water connections directly on site. The sanitary building is modern, well-maintained and clean. Top location directly behind the dyke for walking/biking and for a dog walk.
The Greek restaurant directly on the site is simple, but offers great friendliness and a tasty top price/performance ratio.
It's also not far to Grömitz "City" and you can also get to Kellenhusen quickly by bike
Conclusion: not overly great, but decent place, not exactly cheap, great location, surroundings "suitable for dogs", great for exploring the area.

We have been here for the 2nd year and will definitely be back next year. It was a nice relaxing vacation.

Super clean place in a great area for a long weekend
We were on the course over the Whitsun weekend.

The site is primarily characterized by pitches for seasonal campers, like almost all sites in this region. All the campers are very friendly, as are the staff at reception, in the sanitary facilities and in the restaurant, which sells bread rolls.

On... Whit Sunday, a party was organized for the campers with draught beer, music, sausages and grilled neck steak, which was a complete success from the outside.

Overall, the site feels a little cramped, which may be due to the fact that all the pitches are surrounded by windbreaks. We usually travel primarily in the Netherlands or southern Europe, where this is not usually the case. Some of the turns are also very narrow, so it can be a bit tight with the trailer.

The sanitary facilities are excellent and, above all, very clean. Two employees work hard all day to keep them clean. The fact that a charged chip is always required for the showers is a little annoying, but understandable and sensible.

There is a very nice playground on the site where younger children up to the age of 10 can romp around. Slightly older children will find attractions nearby.

The campsite is just a stone's throw from the beach. There is also a high ropes course and other playgrounds nearby.
You can get to Grömitz (approx. 3 km) or Kellenhusen (approx. 5 km) very quickly by bike. There are also many bike tours on Komoot or Outdoor Aktiv, which run right past the campsite.

If we ever plan a weekend in this region again, we will gladly come back to this campsite.
