everything is totally muddy when it rains, the pitches are not covered with gravel or crushed stone

In itself a beautiful and well-kept campsite, a pity about the condition of the ground on the pitches. However, the adjoining restaurant, which we actually visited due to the heavy rain, makes up for this. Not exactly cheap, but it was worth the money.

Good site under friendly management. Good, shady pitches. Well located as a stopover and for many excursions in the surrounding area.
Good CP. Conveniently located. Close to town. Many sights within easy reach.
We were there in mid-April during Semana Santa (high season). The site was therefore well occupied. The campsite is very conveniently located - both for a stopover and as a starting point for tours in the surrounding area. The campsite has many large deciduous trees and is therefore likely to be shady... in summer. We enjoyed the sun in the still bare trees. The pitches vary in size (from too small to nice and big) and are well separated by plants. The site is flat. Electricity is available on every pitch and water points are distributed throughout the site. Wifi on the pitch is just fine. The sanitary facilities are very well constructed and equipped. In both parts of the building there is a cabin with shower, washbasin and WC, one with washbasin and WC and an area for children with a baby washing area and children's showers. There are also plenty of shower cubicles, hand basins and WCs. Dishes are washed outside under the canopy. Hot water is available throughout the sanitary area and is readily available. Fresh pastries can be bought on site in the morning and there is a small store with the most important basic supplies. The restaurant seems to be good, it was always busy (not tested). We were there for over a week because many interesting destinations can be reached within a short distance via the highways (Valladolid, Salamanca, Zamora, Palencia...) We always felt comfortable on the friendly and well-run site and were able to communicate well in English.

Ideal for our transit
We spent one night here on our motorhome trip to Portugal, it was perfect.

Excellent camping!
A lovely campsite; excellent sanitary facilities, as many as four washing machines (maybe it is very busy in August). The best part was that classical music was on in the washroom. A limited number of pitches have little shade. Suitable as a transit campground on the way to Portugal. Three important cultural cities nearby: Salamanca, Zamora, Valladolid.

Close to the highway, site is very busy in summer as a transit site for one night. Great swimming pool, good sanitary facilities, parceled-out pitches, very friendly staff
