Ascou la Forge is ideal for people who enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. It's a good base for mountain walks and various outdoor sports. The campsite is situated in the middle of the Pyrenees, near the borders … of Spain and Andorra. It is a friendly, family campsite with spacious tent and caravan pitches. The River 'la Lauze'runs past the campsite, leaving small pools of water in which one can bathe or fish. Besides an extensive outdoor sports program, regular hikes are organized.

In Ax-les-Thermes, at the roundabout you follow the sign Ascou-Pailheres. After 3.5 km turn right to the D25 and follow the road passing Ascou. STay on the D25! 3 km after the village of Ascou you see the little lake … of Goulours, pass through the hamlet fo Goulours and 500 meters past this lake you will find the camp-site on your right.
