The restrooms were cleaned regularly, though there were quite a few insects, spiders, etc., in the corners of the rooms, and the interior doors slammed loudly.
Suggestion: Keep the exterior doors closed. Or/and install door stops on the loudly slamming doors in the restroom area. - CPCorinna P.kolovoz 2026Our stopover on our river tourWe were traveling along Germany's rivers and stayed there from August 15 to August 18, 1926. We received a very warm welcome there. And thanks to the dry and hot summer, we were even greeted with the words, “Welcome to Franconian Tuscany” ;-) Everywhere we went, the lawns were parched, and everything... reminded us of the natural landscapes of southern Europe.
Our campsite was spacious. Because of the hot days, we used the pool often, and it was very popular. Next door, there was also an outdoor pool for those looking for more recreational options. There’s plenty on offer for families, so there’s no chance of getting bored. You could reserve and pay for the washing machines and dryers through an online service. I used this service and was even notified when my load was done. There’s a dishwasher; you can get tokens at the front desk. Upon arrival, we received 3 tokens for our stay.
Nearby is the city of Würzburg, a beautiful city that’s definitely worth a visit.

Oh yeah, you have to pick up the drain plugs for washing dishes at the front desk, which is a bit hard to understand.

It’s a beautiful campground. There’s a pool, a playground, and the outdoor pool is also included for free. The campground is located right on the Main River, and it’s about a 15- to 20-minute walk to the charming old town of Ochsenfurt. There are also shaded spots under the trees on the campground itself.
