Prime Location with a Pool
Large plot; the restroom facilities were always clean; we really enjoyed the pool in this heat. The staff was very nice and friendly, always helpful and attentive.

The exterior was clean and well-maintained.
The restroom facilities were rather substandard—three of the urinals were taped off with caution tape. One of them, intended for children, was operational. The men’s showers repeatedly gave off a sewer-like odor. In some of the toilet bowls, a whirlpool of... water formed, causing the lighter toilet paper to swirl around while the heavier pieces “found their way out.”
The pool was deemed satisfactory, though during our stay the water had warmed up so much that it didn’t provide lasting relief from the heat.
We also missed having a restaurant that was open regularly, where it would have been possible to socialize or just grab a bite to eat or a drink.
On the plus side, however, the lady at the counter was very friendly.
Once the shortcomings are addressed, there’s no reason not to stay at the campground, especially since the easily navigable Main Valley Bike Path runs right past the campground and distances—for example, to Würzburg—are reasonable at around 20 km.
The nearby town of Ochsenfurt offers a variety of dining options, and for those who prefer to cook for themselves, there are plenty of stores within a one-kilometer radius.
All in all, we found our stay there to be fine.

Absolut zu empfehlen
Campingpark ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Nur schade das das Camping Restaurant nicht mehr ausreichend bewirtschaftet wird.

Einfahrtsituation für Check-In schlecht. Markierung der Parzellen schlecht, so dass es nicht klar ist, wo die Platzgrenzen sind.

* Einfahrt unübersichtlich. Um 14:00 Uhr gibt es immer einen Check in Stau und es sind Fahrzeuge gezwungen im absoluten Halteverbot zu warten. Fahrzeuge die nicht Einchecken wollen, kommen nicht auf den Platz, da die Schranke blockiert ist.
*... Die Stellplätze sind schlecht markiert. Es ist nie so richtig klar, wo die Platzgrenzen sind. Die Plätze sind tendenziell auch relativ klein.
* Die Orga. Die Mülleimer sind chronisch übervoll. Auf der Männertoilette waren von 4 Pissoirs 2 defekt und abgesperrt. Eines hat funktioniert, eines war für Kinder.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Sind als Paar angereist.
Sehr freundliche und kompetente Rezeptionistin. Gute Lage für eine Tour durch die Altstadt von Ochsenfurt. Plätze für Durchreisende, wo der Wohnwagen nicht abgekoppelt werden muss. Gerne wieder.

A great campground
A very nice and quiet place. The campsites are nice and spacious and very well-maintained. The washhouse and all the other facilities were always very clean and tidy, too. You can also have a great time playing games like Ludo, etc.
The location is great, too.

The only thing that unfortunately wasn’t... quite right for us was the dog park. It would have been really nice, but unfortunately it wasn’t fenced in. We couldn’t let our little “runaway” run free. But it was still a wonderful stay. We’ve been there before and are always happy to come back.

The campground operators are so nice, and you can really tell they run the place with a lot of heart and love. Everyone is super friendly.

A very well-maintained, dog-friendly campground
We were once again very pleased with the always friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the cleanliness of the restrooms and the entire facility—we’ve been coming here every year since 2023 and really enjoy our time here!

A nice spot, right on the Main River. Unfortunately, it's very noisy because of the road running by. Bread delivery service. The kiosk sells snacks. The nearest place to shop is about 800 m away.

Very nicely situated. Ochsenfurt within easy walking distance and many great offers.

If several caravans or motorhomes arrive, you stand on the road and block the traffic a little.
Camping to feel good
Very nice location on the Main. All staff very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities TipTop. We felt very comfortable. Definitely to be recommended.

Close to Ochsenfurt and the Main cycle path, very beautiful surroundings with lots of nature and interesting little villages. Outdoor pool right next door.

However, we think the fee for the "early arrival" of 15 euros, which we were around, is clearly exaggerated. A discount for Knaus owners would also be nice.

Spacious pitches. The site is located directly on the Main, with its own jetty. Very friendly welcome at reception. Relaxed atmosphere. Also with helpful permanent campers.
