Andreas K.август 2025Still room for improvementThere was too much traffic on the campsite, especially the campers were very exhausting traffic-wise. The sanitary facilities look good, but there are far too few showers. The exhaust air in the showers was very bad, at times it had a sauna character.
The reception including the staff and the store were great.

A good starting point for experienced hikers - or those who want to become one! We always go there on our MTBs and like to spend the night at the hut - usually in combination with a via ferrata! The beautiful, but also overcrowded, Völser Weiher is a great place to... relax. Good themed trails, also for smaller children, nearby - especially the geology trail should be mentioned (but not for the untrained). Our highlight this year - the Santnerpasshütte at 2734m via the via ferrata, which is not to be underestimated, especially in the last section!Automatski prevedeno.

Great public transport connections in both directions,... thanks to the South Tyrolean guest card you can travel by bus for free. The infrastructure and organization is like in Austria, so tip top! =)
We also used the "Deluxe" rental pool for a week, which we really appreciated. Otherwise many people had to queue for a shower at peak times. For the price, however, I think spare rolls of toilet paper, hand soap and towels or at least a shower mat should be provided. The other sanitary facilities were also very clean and well equipped (dishwashing station incl. dishwasher and laundry room with tumble dryer.) We did not use the restaurant "zur Quelle".Automatski prevedeno. - Riccardo D.август 2025Dobre straneCleanliness, pitches, attention to detail, helpfulness and kindnessBest campsite in the DolomitesAfter touring the Fassa Valley for several summers, this year we decided to devote ourselves to hiking the Seiser Alm, and the Seiser Alm was an obvious choice. The campsite managed to amaze us with the care and elegance of the facility, the quality of the services, and the kindness of the staff. We... have stayed at the best campsites in the Alps but the Seiser Alm is in a category of its own ! Not to be missed the aperitif with a view of the Sciliar moreover the cable car to the alpe is only 3 stops from the camping with buses running every 15 minutes in summer. - Franziska K.август 2025Nice campsite with minor flawsThe place is very nice, all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
In the store there is a selection of mainly regional products, which in our opinion were a little too expensive (even for a camping store). Unfortunately, bread rolls could not be pre-ordered, so we always had to get up very... early to have a choice.
One major drawback, however, is that there is only one wash house for the entire site. We were lucky and our pitch was directly opposite. So the distances were short. But some other guests had to walk a long way to get to the showers, scullery or waste disposal station. In the evening, the queue for the ladies' showers was so long that you had to wait up to 60 minutes. That could be better.
The location is otherwise really lovely and the whole site is very well maintained. The children's playground is at the very end.
The pool is nice and we found it pleasant that you had to make a reservation. That way it wasn't overcrowded. However, it would have been nice if the supervisors had paid more attention to the swimming rules. Jumping from the edge of the pool is forbidden, but hardly anyone adhered to this. If you are out and about with a small child who is just learning to swim, the swimming season is quickly over.
The place is generally recommendable, but unfortunately it wasn't really suitable for our current family situation.Automatski prevedeno. - Jana S.август 2025Great campsite with panoramic views!We particularly liked the ambience at the Seiser Alm campsite. The green, partly wooded, hilly site offers shade and some privacy on your own pitch. In addition, the view of the Schlern is a real highlight (especially great to see from the Quelle restaurant).
The "Dolomiten Bad" sanitary facilities are... super clean and very modern.
The playground with slides, swings and climbing walls is further down. There are goats and a small stream.

The site itself is well maintained. However, there is only one wash house, which led to waiting times in the morning and evening. There is no washing-up area outside, where you could enjoy the beautiful view. The registration... for the pool bothered us because we don't want to plan the time on vacation when we are back from the excursion in order to be able to go to the pool. We also wanted to avoid the stress of making it clear to the children after 45 minutes that we had to get out now. That was a shame, especially as this rule doesn't apply in the morning. Incomprehensible for us.
If you arrive at the weekend, please note that the store is only open on Sunday mornings and the restaurant is closed. The dimensions length and width of the pitch would also be very interesting when booking.

It's a beautiful location, and our pitch offered stunning views of the mountains with a perfect mix of sun and shade. The facilities were excellent - clean toilets and showers that are cleaned several times a day, and a small shop offering delicious fresh bread and cold beers. We also really appreciated the swimming pool, where the children could enjoy themselves.
