There were regular waiting times for showers, but there was no room to wait at all. Good footpaths and cycle paths to the town center (1.5 km) or to the beach (400 m). Sanitary older but well maintained and clean. Butik (groceries/bread rolls) only open at weekends in low season. As we were pretty much in the middle of the site, we didn't find the road or the train disturbing. The sanitary facilities, which were spread over several buildings, were well equipped and well maintained,... as was the kitchen. We arrived in the morning and were allowed to choose our own pitch. In the afternoon, the new arrivals were allocated the remaining spaces by the very friendly staff. We can award further plus points for the short distance to the very beautiful beach and the town center of Ystad. A well-marked cycle path takes you there in just a few minutes. Other recommended destinations are the boat launch in Kaseberga and the dream beach in Sandhammeren. If you are a little fit, you can easily reach these destinations by bike.
