Vrbas Camp - near Banja Luka
On June 3, a group of 30 friends on a tour of Bosnia ended up at Camp Vrbas (located in the impressive Vrbas Gorge in Bosnia and Herzegovina). Camp Vrbas in Rekavice is an idyllic, small-scale campground on the banks of the Vrbas River, about 18 km from Banja Luka. The breathtaking location right on... the water, the hospitality of the staff, and the excellent food in the on-site restaurant give you that ultimate vacation feeling. The restaurant is highly praised for its delicious, local dishes and hospitality.
There are clean facilities and spacious bungalows. Although the amenities are simple, the excellent restaurant and unique location more than make up for it. The spectacular Vrbas River and the green surroundings are perfect for an active vacation or ultimate relaxation. The Vrbas Canyon is world-famous for its rapids. You can book fantastic rafting and kayaking trips right from the campground. Several beautiful hiking trails through the impressive natural surroundings start from the campground. You can cool off in the (cool) river water or cast your line and enjoy some fishing. Soak up some culture: A short distance away (approx. 18 km) lies the lively city of Banja Luka, with its historic sights or a charming outdoor café.
The owner and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and combined with the beautiful nature and warm, welcoming atmosphere, it truly makes this a special place.

As a nature lover i enjoy the beautiful ambient and activities such as fishing, rafting and swimming on the beautiful river Vrbas. I enjoy every time I come. Highly recommend 👍

About Camp
great camp for very little money. the staff of the camp is very friendly and available 24/7, the bungalows were clean and tidy, as for the activities in the camp, you have excellent staff at your disposal who are versatile, if you like rafting, fishing or hiking, the staff is there to guide you and they do it great. we were fishing and Mr. Dragan showed us the real beauty of the Vrbas river.
