The Green Caravan Park, for caravanning and camping in South Shropshire, is a family-friendly, family-run site located in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The shallow River East Onny runs through the mainly level, sheltered site. Children enjoy paddling …and fishing in it; they also have fun in the small play area. There are various places to camp here, from small dingles to a large five acre meadow. Several of the pitches are adjacent to the river. We have electric pitches including hard standings. Facilities include a shower block and a small shop, there is also a well stocked village shop just over the road. The Inn on the Green pub is reached directly from the site and The Crown [dog-friendly] is just up the hill, both serve competitively priced home-made food and Real Ales. They also provide free Wi-Fi. The local area here in South Shropshire, has quiet country lanes and scenic hills that naturally lend it to excellent walks. The Green Caravan Park offers all the ingredients for a superb break or holiday, conveniently situated (30 mins from Shrewsbury/ Ludlow). So popular was the site with readers of Practical Caravan magazine that they voted it into the Top 100 Parks from 2010 to 2015.
