We received a very warm welcome. Kudos to the front desk staff. They were a huge help when we had problems with our trailer.
Very large campground with a lot of long-term campers. Some of them look terribly old and... run-down. That doesn’t exactly contribute to the camping atmosphere.
The campsites are all arranged in neat rows. Not very idyllic.
On some sites, there are a few “parked” trailers and RVs. People are camping in between them. Very strange? Maybe these spots are cheaper?
There are several bodies of water where you can swim and fish.
The surrounding area is great for biking. The historic town of Bad Wimpfen is also a lovely destination for a bike ride. On Sunday, however, it was dead quiet there. All the shops were closed, and only a few restaurants were open.
We had dinner at “Trattoria Nonno Lucio” in the nearby town of Adler. I highly recommend it! Fantastic service and delicious pizzas.

The sites are very spacious and feature a paved patio, which we really... like.
The restrooms are always clean. The showers now have a glasses holder—a real highlight for me as someone who wears glasses.
The pit stop area is also new—we really like it.
We had a great meal at the restaurant.

We were there for the May weekend, with child and dog. Plot with stone terrace is nice and big. The general offer is top. On our weekend there was a DJ (Tanz in den Mai) and a flea market with live music. The Kettcar rental was very popular with... our daughter. The restaurant on the campsite has a large selection, friendly staff and a great price/performance ratio.

Everyone is incredibly child-friendly and there is so much for the children on the site: the many great playgrounds, the playhouse, the Kettcars, the... lake with the pedal boats, the Kneipp pools, the children could ride bikes, play ball and much more.
