You have a beautiful view from every spot. There are fresh rolls every morning. It's a lovely place to go for a walk.
Negatiiviset
Unfortunately, the trains are still very loud. During the first few days of our stay, a seaplane on the lake was constantly practicing takeoffs and landings, which was quite loud. The washhouses are in dire need of renovation.
A nice spot by the lake
A beautiful spot by the lake. Every spot here offers a lovely view of the lake. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking or walking the dog. The store has plenty of supplies, including ice cream, bread rolls, and other items. Osby is within walking distance. You can also drive to various supermarkets to do your shopping. From the spots down by the shore, it’s a very steep climb up to the washhouse. The washhouses are clean.

Osby-Camping is a small, fine and clean campsite. We are here for the third time and enjoy the peace, nature and above all the relaxation. The site is suitable for everyone. Oh yes, we were here with the dog, which was fine.
Arriving after reception has closed is also no problem. Let us surprise you.

Camping by the lake
We stayed here for one night. The site is in Osby and right on the lake. We had a lovely pitch with a view of the lake. The site is terraced, so you can actually see the lake from every pitch. There is a small store where you can buy the essentials. There is also a boat rental service, but we didn't use it.
A nice place for a few days.

The place is clean Located right next to the village Has enough forest and hiking areas around it. Friendly staff and friendly permanent campers
Negatiiviset
Train traffic is constantly audible, sometimes loud freight trains at night. Steep incline from the pitches to the wash house. Everything in one room, toilets, washbasins and showers.
Campsite directly on site
The campsite is right next to the village. The site extends as far as the lake and is a great place to stand. From there, the ascent to the wash house is a good workout. The area is great for walking, there are paths right by the lake or through the forest up to the village. At the time we were there,... the store was only open from 10:00 to 13:00. So you had to have bread or bread rolls or go into Osby.
The permanent campers are all very nice and we were even offered home-grown vegetables. There is also a jetty and you can hire boats at the site.
Unfortunately, the local beach club was playing music at Whitsun.

Quiet campsite right on the lake
We spent one night in Osby on both the outward and return journeys during our tour of Sweden. The site is really nice, especially the pitches right by the lake. There is plenty of space to pitch a tent or similar next to the motorhome. The lake is great for swimming or boating. The shallow entrance with... the jetty is a real hit, especially for children. You can also play mini golf with the kids.
Although the sanitary buildings are no longer the newest, they were always very clean.
Overall, a great place where you can find peace and quiet and relax - but also do some good sport. Absolutely recommended!

Small, quiet campsite, ideal for relaxing. Very suitable for short stays. We were there a little longer and it got a bit boring for my children (11/10).

Nice little place right on the lake
Almost every pitch has a clear view of the lake thanks to the terraces on the pitch. Friendly welcome, nice staff, good and clean sanitary facilities! Beautifully landscaped grounds with a nice barbecue terrace right on the lake, small playground on the beach (sand) with a small jetty

Maybe not quite as lonely as we like it in Sweden ;-)
Surprisingly beautiful
Outside the main season, in mid-August, the reception was closed. You can simply choose a pitch, take the key for the electricity out of the box and start camping :-). The site is on a slope and is terraced. It was already empty, you had a view of the lake from almost everywhere. There are three different... buildings with toilets and kitchen, all of Swedish standard. Super clean and very well maintained. Beautiful walks are possible in the adjacent forest, and the route is also illuminated in the evening. In Osby (within walking or cycling distance) there are several stores and the Brio Lekoseum. Nearby in Älmhult is the huge first Ikea. Thank you for the lovely time, it was quiet and relaxing.

Everything is wonderful
This was the fourth place on our round trip and we felt completely at home. The easy-going guy at reception was always friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the sanitary facilities. Finally showering without limits and extra costs. The washing machine was also cheaper than the other places at 30... crowns. We also really liked the cooking and washing-up area. Bright and clean. You get a chip for the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately only one per pitch. So you have to coordinate in the morning. Also not tragic. It was very quiet on the whole site, but it was also already off-season at the end of August. We stayed here for 4 nights. You should visit the Ikea Museum. Otherwise there are beautiful hiking trails in Älmhut. You can hire canoes and play mini golf on the site. There is a playground by the lake, which the children loved. We would definitely come back again.

great place
We ended up in Osby by chance on our return journey to Germany because we were looking for a place to stay near the Ikea Museum in Älmhult. As soon as we arrived, we were impressed by the friendliness and simplicity of the check-in process. And our pitch was a dream! In the bottom row of the terraced... pitch, right by the lake with a fantastic view and picture-book sunset. If there had been a tree to provide some shade, it would have been perfect, but it's not always as hot as it was this summer. Incidentally, because of the terraces, you have a beautiful view of the lake from almost all the pitches. The sanitary facilities themselves were clean and well equipped. You can hire canoes, stand-up paddle boards and children's vehicles at the campsite, but unfortunately our stay was too short for that. But it was enough for a swim in the lake. If we go to Sweden again, this place will be at the top of our list.

View and location of the campsite on the lakeshore, close to Osby, uncomplicated operator.
Negatiiviset
Mosquitoes, railroad line
Small, simple CP with a great panorama
On our round trip through Sweden this was our last CP, spontaneously visited. And we were very pleasantly surprised! A very friendly, young, uncomplicated operator (likeable "shore guy") gave us a free choice of pitch. The campsite is laid out in terraces, so you have a wonderful view across the lake... with its boats to the small town of Osby. This also allows you to choose how close you want to be to the lakeshore (watch out for mosquitoes!). There are plenty of opportunities for swimming and fishing. The lake is very shallow. However, you have to climb up to the top terrace level to use the sanitary building (large enough and clean) and take out the garbage. According to brochures, travel guides etc., the surrounding area offers some interesting destinations which we were unable to visit due to the brevity of our stay. We were bothered by the mosquitoes (around sunset) and the audible train track on the other side of the river. Otherwise really beautiful, idyllic and highly recommended!

Directly on the lake
Campsite is right on the lake and ideal for recreation. The sanitary facilities are OK and clean. It is only a few minutes to Osby, where a visit to the Lekoseum with children is definitely worthwhile.

Beautiful campsite
with a great bathing area. The terrain is laid out in terraces as a meadow without trees. Terraces are level and easy to access. We were there for the first two days of the low season and the site was accordingly empty, so we were able to choose a nice pitch in the first row with a view of the lake itself.... But even when the site is full, you probably have a good view of the lake from all the pitches, as the terraces are well laid out. The absolute plus for us was the bathing area with children's playground, water slide and jetty. As the water depth only falls very gradually, it is also suitable for small children. However, as it is an open bathing area, it is also frequented by non-campers, but this was very limited when we were there. We can't say what it's like during the vacation season. The service facilities were well maintained and clean. Only the ladies' showers could do with some renovation, as there was already slight mold growth in the lower shower area. There is also a mini golf course with 18 holes.

Best view!
Quiet place, despite being close to the city. Great view from all pitches, with luck with a fantastic sunset. Sanitary clean, functional but a bit dull. Beautiful kitchens and great bathing area, but well frequented, generous, free choice of places, unobtrusive and uncomplicated service.

Osby Camping, Top !
We were there for 3 days at the beginning of June just passing through to relax. We were welcomed very nicely and were then able to choose a pitch, as there was still a lot going on on the site, exactly what we were looking for, absolute peace and quiet. We were there for the second time and would go there again in a heartbeat, the place was very clean, the staff very nice and the price was not expensive, we'd love to go again.

We were only here for one night because the children really wanted to go to the BRIOlekoseum. The campsite was only half full at most and we really liked it, the terraced site offers a beautiful view of Osbysjön. The staff are friendly and the sanitary facilities are fine. The playground and bathing facilities are good.

Terraced, parceled out, quiet and well-kept site directly on the lake with bathing beach. Friendly site operators. Sanit. Facilities and kitchen/washing up good and always very clean. To the center approx. 3 KM, there good shopping possibilities. ideal also for excursions in the closer surroundings,... e.g. Kristianstad. Attention when approaching: Follow the signs "Camping" via Osby and do not follow the GPS. This leads over a very narrow road where crossing is not possible.
