- Scottie B.kesäkuu 2011The entrance to the campsite is just after the bridge at the exit from Lamlash in the direction of Whiting Bay and is easy to miss. The site itself offers an almost flat grassy area with no clearly visible parcelling. There is little to catch the eye, as the view of the water is overgrown with trees... (not necessarily a disadvantage during the occasional heavy storms). There are a few mobile homes a little higher up, but these were hardly occupied during our visit. The sanitary facilities are very basic (proper mirrors or a new toilet seat would be nice), but the showers are very generously sized...although one more hook wouldn't go amiss. The rooms are not heated, but the water is nice and hot (not necessarily a matter of course on Scottish campsites). The cleanliness could also be improved a little, but the disgusting limit has not been reached by a long way. The big advantage is clearly the easy accessibility of Lamlash's "town center" with various stores and pubs and the proximity to Brodick (5 minutes by car). We stayed here for the second and not the last time.Käännetty automaattisesti.
