Neat place for visits or overnight stays
A decent site for visiting the area or just passing through. The vast majority of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers, so that you feel a little alien as a traveler passing through.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Washrooms not luxurious but clean.
There are restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but (please note!) they are all closed on Mondays.

Somewhat steep exit for caravans, hard toilet paper, no WLAN on site, no card payment possible.
Recommendable
This site is clearly dominated by permanent campers, but that's not a problem. Everyone is nice and sociable. Visually, a lot of things are from the 80s, such as pressure flushers in the toilets or mixer taps with two separate taps. But the sanitary building is huge, everything is clean, there are removable... showers and this flair from a bygone era has its own charm. Nevertheless, we had a water connection, gray water drain and electricity directly at the site. However, the car had to be parked in a parking lot in front of the gate. There is a bread roll service, a small store and direct access to the Ruhtal cycle path. From time to time you can hear some aircraft noise during the day, but in our opinion this is bearable.

The site is relatively large and the image is characterized by permanent campers. Overall, everything seems quite cramped. The driveways are narrow and difficult to see due to high and protruding hedges. We covered the distance from the main path to the pitch with the mover because it was too narrow... for the trailer. The children's playground is large, but is somewhat hidden to the side of the sanitary building. The site looks neglected: the grass is not cut, the play equipment is not in the best condition and some of it is broken. The garden chairs were all broken. The sanitary building is old and only clean immediately after cleaning. There is a strong and unpleasant odor in the sanitary building and on the playground, as well as in parts of the campsite depending on the wind direction. The site manager is very friendly and helpful.

Campsite owner and hosts SUPER friendly. Access to the guest pitches is obstructed by wide and high hedges.
