"Backyard camping - When we arrived there was continuous rain and storm in France, it is clear that the operators of this campsite can not help it, that they themselves were overwhelmed with the situation may be. BUT that they were not able/unwilling to clean up afterwards and make the paths passable again, nor warn the arriving campers not to use the other uninhabited pitches because of the danger of getting stuck, is not clear to us. The plots were desolate with open power lines and 4 bar water hoses without regulators. Everything stuck out of the ground. Regarding the sanitary facilities, the toilet (you have to bring your own toilet paper), shower and washing facilities are located in a large room where birds obviously feel at home. The floors were clean but no effort was made to remove the birds' droppings. The showers are very small (no possibility of storage). The lagoon (which is often praised here in the reviews) turned out to be an overturned pond that has its best days behind it. Swimming is not possible there with an estimated depth of 1.40 m at most. Waste such as ashtrays, garbage and dog waste was not emptied or collected and thrown away even after days. Conclusion: take the campsite of the same chain further inland which is FAR better - this backyard should be avoided!

"beautiful place close to the sea - Stayed on the site for 5 days; the sea is about 5 minutes away; the site has 2 pools with a sandy beach, a bar and a small restaurant; the store is okay, you can order bread rolls/pastries there. The site is quiet in the evening. The camper van disposal is a bit stupid, the gray water disposal quickly runs out. From September ACSI

"Beautiful, family campsite - The Soliel d'oc campsite is surrounded by the beautiful vegetation typical of the area and is located right next to a quiet, clean stretch of beach. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Lively vacation resorts are in the immediate vicinity. On the campsite itself, the swimming area consisting of 2 lagoons stands out, which is particularly popular with our children. Everything is clean, well-kept and beautifully planted. We have already spent 3 vacations here and will be happy to return in the future.

Camping Soleil d'Oc is located in the far south of France – between Narbonne and the Mediterranean Sea. It's a true family-friendly campsite, especially enjoyable with young children. The unique lagoon-style pool guarantees endless water fun for the little ones. …And the best part: the wide Mediterranean beach is just a short walk away. Fresh, friendly, Mediterranean Straight paths, level pitches, and well-kept, colorful accommodations create a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Palm trees, olive trees, and oleanders remind you that you’re camping right by the Mediterranean. A tropical swimming paradise At Soleil d’Oc, you’ll mostly meet couples and families with young children. No surprise – there’s so much to explore! A fun playground with climbing structures, several large inflatable castles, and a beautiful lagoon. The round pool gradually deepens and is no more than 1.40 m in the center – ideal for splashing, cooling off or floating around. You’re surrounded by white sand, loungers, and thatched parasols – with palm trees adding to the tropical vibe. It almost feels like the Caribbean! Between nature park and coastline The campsite is located in the Parc Régional Naturel de la Narbonnaise en Méditerranée, a protected nature reserve with incredible biodiversity. Lagoons, sandy beaches, reed beds, and ponds form a stunning landscape and important breeding grounds for rare migratory birds. Whether on foot or by bike – it’s easy to set off and explore. Right at the entrance, you’ll find well-marked cycle paths leading through unspoiled nature to nearby coastal towns. For example, you can ride the 8 kilometers to Gruissan, a charming fishing village full of authentic Mediterranean character.
