"Modern square - We stayed at the campsite for 4 nights. Everything went smoothly and professionally, from registration to checkout. Everything was also very friendly. The site is very well maintained, everything is very clean and also very well organized. There is almost nothing missing: camperclean, gas bottle exchange (also aluminum) and even a dog shower ..., everything available. In general, dog owners are in very good hands here on the site: Dog playgrounds and a dog beach are available. The Cabana restaurant is highly recommended, as is the Veen Spa. All in all, a TOP site, and yet there was something we didn't like at all: it lacks naturalness. The site was created out of nothing, everything is neatly arranged in rows, which sometimes resembles the charm of a terraced housing estate. If you can live with that, you're sure to have a great vacation here. In any case, there is little mobile phone reception and a poor WiFi network when the site is busy. This is all the more surprising as the campsite itself is very modern and digitized in many places. For example, you can book your fishing spot directly at the fishing spot using a QR code, but what use is it if you have no/poor reception? But all this is complaining on a very high level. All in all, it's a very well-run site, and if you don't mind the layout and the many dogs, you'll certainly feel very comfortable here. It's not for nothing that the site has many "repeat offenders". My rating is purely for the site and less for the location, so 5 stars!

"Very nice campsite - It was our first time here. It's great that everyone has their own sanitary building. Spacious pitches. Super site with its own bathing lake and restaurant. Although we don't have a dog, it was impressive with the dog run. Friendly and helpful staff. The site was very well maintained.

"1 week rain - It's great that the bathroom is also on the pitch. The light is controlled by a motion sensor that goes out quickly. Particularly annoying when showering. The small cupboard hangs over the sink so that you bump your head when brushing your teeth and shaving. The place is (if there are not too many barking dogs on site) wonderfully quiet The restaurant is right on the lake, but if you want to eat on the pitch you can only order pizza and tarte flambée -Although it rained all week, the pitch was dry.

"Whitsun weekend at the Emsland camp - This was our third time there and it was wonderful again. The team is super friendly (thanks to Anke Feldhaus). The dog beach and the dog free area is great for our dogs, the restaurant is a bit expensive for my taste but still very tasty food and especially delicious pizza menu. I particularly like the private shower blocks on the pitch where there are toilets and washing-up facilities. The whole campsite is very clean and everything is up to date. You really feel very comfortable there and if there are any problems they are solved immediately. We are going back in August and are really looking forward to it.
