"Super place with small flaws - This site was to be the highlight of our trip to Denmark, so we booked a pitch right on the beach with its own access. The public access to the beach was only 2 meters away and not fenced off. So everything took place right next to our pitch, which was noisy. What's more, the water point was right there, where everyone got water and had to wash their feet. You get the impression that the pitches don't receive much attention from the site management anyway, as even the closest sanitary facilities are not in a good and well-kept condition. The focus is obviously on the pool area, which we couldn't use because of the many children (not meant to be a criticism). The beach is beautifully situated, but hardly anyone goes into the water because of the many aquatic plants. Even if it is supposed to be a natural beach, at least you can clear away the aquatic plants and algae on the shore, there would be a lot more of them. On Langeland, the island, you can also see the economic situation in Denmark, decay and empty houses everywhere. Apparently nobody wants to invest any more. Conclusion: A nice place for families with children, if you can live with a few shortcomings.

"Transformation from campsite to hut village - For us, it was a visit to the campsite of my childhood. But I was shocked to see how much is still the same as it was over 40 years ago. There are still the great big pitches on grass, but the windbreak hedges for the huts have all been cut down to give a view of the sea. It just has its advantages and disadvantages ;) Yes, 20 years ago the pool and socker area and the bouncy cushion were built, but since then only a lot of vacation huts have been added, but unfortunately little else has been done. The only thing that looks really good are the playgrounds, which seem to be on every corner of the site. Some of the showers and washing facilities have been renovated, but not refurbished. The toilets downstairs in the sanitary complex are too small and there are no proper washing facilities upstairs in the sanitary complex. There are also only 4 showers, a hairdryer (defective) and no washbasins. There are washbasins in the toilets, but without mirrors. The water pressure in the showers is rather poor. The cleanliness is clearly in need of improvement. It all looks a bit like a hobby craftsman has had a go, no matter where you look. The snack bar is probably no longer there, which really annoyed us because according to the website it was supposed to be open until 9pm and we had planned our shopping accordingly. There is a lot of equipment missing in the vacation homes, you should read the inventory list carefully beforehand and bring everything that is missing. For example, there is a barbecue but no barbecue tongs, no bread basket, cloths but no tea towels etc. The plug in the kitchen sink was missing. The mirror in the bathroom is already going blind. The pitches with private beach access are also not worth the price in our eyes. All in all a pity. I'm not sure where the 4 stars come from and it's not really a vacation park either.

"Emmerbölle - The campsite is in a very quiet location on an island. The beach is directly adjacent to the campsite and has a beautiful sandy beach. The sanitary facilities and the pool are clean and available in sufficient numbers. The individual pitches are separated from each other by hedges. separated by hedges.

"Dilapidated square - Not much is done here for the high price. The staff are very distant. The pool bar is rarely open and has an extremely small selection. The bathrooms are clean but very old. It looks like the 80s. There are very few individual showers and you have to pay extra for the large showers. That is a no-go. Water also costs extra. The sauna area is garbage, but costs extra. The door to the sauna is broken. The cooling pool and whirlpool have stale and cloudy water which smells unpleasant. The plots with beach access are overgrown with wild hedges. The entrances to the beach are overgrown with thistles and on the beach there is a 1/2 meter high wall of old rotten algae that no one removes. For the price of 80-90€ per night, this is an outrage. There is a difference between natural and unkempt, which you can see very clearly here.

The campsite is beautifully located on Langeland with direct access to a lovely beach, making it a great choice for families with children and nature lovers alike. Emmerbølle Strand Camping is a great choice for families looking for a relaxing and active vacation close to nature. With its beautiful location, modern facilities and wide range of activities, it's a campsite that offers something for everyone. What's more, the campsite is dog-friendly.

"Short vacation - Our short vacation was very relaxing. Unfortunately, we have to say that there was a lack of care. The sanitary building was not cleaned very thoroughly. WC and washbasin with a cloth. Tiles in the outdoor area defective. Should be renewed to avoid the risk of injury.
