Camping within 10 min walk to the city very very center is really something of unbelievable, but it is truth! Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping is located down the hill of the very city center, in the artistic part of … Vilnius called Užupis. Main tourist spots are within a slow-walk distance: city hall (10 min), cathedral (15 min), bus&train station (20 min). Plenty of green areas around: newly opened park (9 min), river and ponds (3 min). And of course the Republic of Užupis just meters away. We call ourselves a forest, because we are located in a big house is surrounded by trees and some extra space for camping. 5 caravan/camper places are located on tarmac, while all with tents can find a spot on the grass. We are passionate about traveling and about our city. Just ask and we will advice you what to see and do!

From train/bus station: take bus No. 34 or 74 and get off on 4th stop (Subaciaus stop). From Subaciaus stop: At the Subaciaus stop cross the street and turn right. Go straight-ahead 10m until you see the stairs at your left. Come down the stairs and go straight-ahead 50m and turn to the left into Paupio street. Go straight-ahead 80m until you see the gates at your left and the sign 'Paupio Namai'. Go through the gates and you will see the building in front of you in 50 metres.
