A place to relax and unwind! Friendly and correct operators. All facilities always spotlessly clean!

We will be back!
The Eichensee campsite is idyllically situated in a forest. The intense twittering of birds accompanies campers throughout the day. This site is an oasis for anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We received a friendly welcome from the owners and they were always ready... for a chat. We would particularly like to praise the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Our four-legged fur child Simba was greeted with a surprise box as soon as we arrived. We really enjoyed our days at the Eichensee campsite with walks, cycling and relaxing and we will be back! This place is an oasis where you can relax and unwind. A big thank you to the owners!

Pitch directly overlooking the lake. Quietly situated in the shade. Perfect for families with children or dog owners.
Negatiiviset
It's a pity that many permanent camper pitches are not maintained. But that's not meant to be a negative thing!
Idyllic square
A very nice, well-kept site with clean sanitary facilities. Pure nature! A relaxing weekend for us

Beautiful natural location. Very nice permanent campers. Friendly landlords who take care of everything.
Negatiiviset
Access is bumpy
Fantastic location for those seeking peace and quiet
The campsite is in a fantastic forest location. Others pay for forest bathing. We permanent campers have it included. If you appreciate nature with all the trimmings, including the friendly tenants, this is the place for you.

All of it.
Owners should be ashamed
Nothing to recommend. Rude management, 95% permanent campers. We were worried about our safety. The owners were completely erratic.

We take all our vacations with our camper because of our children and therefore know many different campsites. campsites. This one is in a very beautiful location and is indeed a little oasis of peace. But that's about it. As soon as you enter, you get the impression that you are being suspiciously inspected.... The site makes a cozy impression, the pitches for the temporary campers are by the lake. What is a little annoying is that the lawn is constantly being blown up while you eat dinner right next to it, for example. The restaurant on site is closed. There is no service such as bread service or a small store for "emergency utensils" (except beer !?) The showers can only be used at certain times. There is no toilet paper in the toilets.

Guantanomo Bay in Bavaria!
Wow. Just wow. Possibly the most unfriendly welcome I have ever had, someone had pooed in the shower. The owner made me move the caravan by 30 CM to the left. He then decided to switch on a sprinkler over us when we ere having dinner. His wife then proceeded to snarl at us from the balcony. The ratings say it; this is the worst camping sit in Bavaria

A Nasty Noisy Place
Full of dilapidated old camp pitches with rotting tents. Rude owners. Animals tolerated but not welcome. Loud noises at night from drunken parties.

If you missed Banksy's Dysmaland exibition it might be worth a day trip.
Negatiiviset
The toxic environment fostered by the owners permiates the whole place.
Horrific. A disturbing experience.
If you would like to spend your free time where unpleasentness is rampant and where your safety is at risk, you may wish to try this campsite. Make no mistake about it, you will not be treated as a customer or a client. You will be expected to show humility and humbleness for the privilege afforded to... you by the owners while you experience their best efforts to recreate Dante s inferno. If despite these warnings, you do decide to stop over, do not pay for more than a day. If you do you risk joining the many campers who have paid for a week and run for their sanity as soon as they are allowed to exit through the barriers in the morning. Yes, I did say allowed. You will literally be locked in until the barriers are opened in the morning. Medical Emergency? Your chances will depend on the level of inebriation of the owners as to whether you can wake them up to open the gate. The barriers also get locked during the day for three hours. Please make sure you shower between 09:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 21:00. You are only allowed to shower at these times. If you do not comply, you will be shouted at. Access to these coins might also be dictated by the state of inebriation of the owners. The showere are clean because they will be inspected after you used them (seriously) and you will be shouted at if You have not cleaned them. Your children will be shouted at for using the climbing frame in anyway that is not compliant with the rules. It is unclear what the rules actually are. Other obscure rules (no a definitive list as these are made up on the spot), no talking above a whisper at predefined times, no smoke from barbecues, you can bring your dog – but cannot actually do anything with them - they are not allowed to leave your caravan. Your dog is not permitted to play anywhere on the campsite. Please do not spoil your precious holiday time by going to this Campsite.

Super campsite
We have been permanent campers for 3 years. The site operators are very nice, what they don't like are people who don't tell them the truth and register under false pretenses. We really appreciate the fact that they pay attention to peace and order. After all, we come there to relax. Of course, there... are also parties and if the groundsman is informed and the night's rest is observed, he doesn't mind. The sanitary facilities are excellent and the family who run the campsite are always available for a chat. There are clear "office hours" and that's a good thing. We have not regretted pitching our caravan there and can only recommend this campsite to anyone looking for relaxation. True to the saying: "a good word finds a good place".

Officially the worst camping in Bavaria. Yes Officially.
Do we didn't and sort the list of all Campsites in Bavaria by their ranking. This place has the worst ranking in the whole state, worse even than Campsites that are closed. It simply is not a pleasant place to be. Rudeness is the norm and the campus is in a filthy state.

Once and never again.... the owners are full of conroll freaks, here it's only according to their rules. The restaurant also had no tenant and was closed. Dogs are allowed but not really welcome. The lake is unfortunately not suitable for swimming. We were very disappointed. We imagine a different kind of vacation.

Quiet / in the middle of the forest & on the lake / shopping facilities within easy reach by car / very clean complex.
Negatiiviset
For us: none.
First-class retreat with old-fashioned charm
The campsite is located directly on the Eichensee and is lovingly managed - the owner watches over his guests with great interest and ensures peace and quiet when appropriate. You won't find rowdy party people here! The permanent campers keep to themselves, the free tent pitches by the lake are well frequented. The toilets / showers / washrooms are incredibly clean, you don't have to be disgusted here.

The operator
Once and never again
In September 2017 we visited the Eichensee campsite for 2 days as a stopover on our round trip through Bavaria. The campsite: The location itself is very nice in the middle of nature surrounded by forest and fields, but you are very far away from the shot and there are no shopping facilities on the entire... campsite or nearby. The sanitary facilities: Simple but very clean, but also cold as there was no heating despite the cold nights. In addition, there is no toilet paper in the toilet on the grounds that the children would smear the paper around...a strange attitude I don't know of any campsite in the whole of Germany where there is no toilet paper in the toilet. The showers: The showers were clean if you cleaned them yourself scrubbing brushes and rags were provided, but at 9 pm the hot water was already turned off on the grounds that it was no longer worth it. 50 cents is the price for showering which is completely ok as you can shower for as long as you like, but you have to pay with bills as coin money was not wanted. There is a barbecue area for the whole site between the caravans and tent pitches for tourists, which is not recommended as your neighbor can see how many sausages you are grilling and if there is too much smoke, the site operator immediately stands on the mat with a warning finger, so barbecuing is no fun. And last but not least...the operators: initially friendly and courteous, the operators turned into control freaks in the two days.

A quiet place right by the lake
It is a very quiet and idyllic campsite by the lake with friendly hosts. However, there are almost only permanent campsites. So you should definitely book in advance to get one of the 8 pitches. However, these are in the 1st row by the lake. The toilets and showers are very clean.

The operator!
It's best to just sit in the tent/caravan and do nothing!!!
The site is 95% occupied by permanent campers, there are some very nice pitches, but the majority are extremely overgrown and unkempt, there are 3 pitches and a small tent meadow for "transients". Although there is a restaurant, it is to be leased (it is empty). The operator is extremely fond of rules... (although nobody knows anything about the rules before being told off): There is a playground, but there are separate rules as to which age group may use which play equipment (rule 1 out of 1000000), there is a bathing lake (pond) in which you may swim, but not fish (as the pond is leased). There is a barbecue area, but if you want to barbecue, you have to make sure that there are no flying sparks and that there is not too much smoke, otherwise the operator will visit you and tell you very aggressively to stop barbecuing. The operator does his rounds all day on his bike ... But you shouldn't confuse friendliness with curiosity or control mania. Whether adult or child, everyone gets their comeuppance here. Conclusion: Our first and last visit to this campsite
