"We like it very much - We liked it very much and we will definitely come back. The children had endless fun. It is a campsite run by a small family with a lot of heart and all in all a very nice facility.

"Pure relaxation and recuperation from everyday life, unwind on Lake Plön - A very original place in a beautiful location! For me a wonderful place to switch off and recharge my batteries, the Brüne family make you feel very welcome and are always on hand with help and advice! The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily and meet my requirements perfectly! If everyone would leave them exactly as they would like to find them, no problem! I feel very comfortable here and especially enjoy the fact that this site is not for luxury campers and chicky micky's! Kristina

"No luxury but honest - The campsite is clearly not for people who prefer first class camping. The campsite impresses with its location and tranquillity. Certainly, if you like a lawn cut to the millimeter and a sterile appearance, then this is not the place for you. But if you like honesty and find the shaved lawn rather disturbing, love peace and quiet and haven't lost your sense of the essentials, then you're in very good hands here. I read something about impossible sanitary facilities.... please? The facilities are cleaned daily, they are clean, bad odors come at most from the predecessor.... If you want luxury, you should rather book an all-inclusive vacation or head for one of the overpriced star places. I feel completely at home here!

"The whole place is very unkempt. - The site is almost exclusively occupied by permanent campers, while at the same time many pitches are empty, even in the first row directly on the lake. The whole site looks very unkempt, only a few permanent campers have kept their pitches nice and tidy. As tourist campers, we had booked a pitch for a longer period well in advance. Although the pitch on offer was large, it was dirty and in poor condition: presumably a previous permanent camper had left some exposed aggregate concrete slabs for our caravan to stand on. However, some of the slabs were loose and wobbly; there were still wooden strips attached to the edges that could not be removed, but from which dangerously long screw heads were sticking out. There were old leaves and plant remains etc. all over the pitch (including on the slab area), which were at least from the previous year. Many other empty pitches looked similar or were in even worse condition. Even the entrance area is characterized by a patched up barrier system, a large shed of undefined function, parked unkempt work vehicles, parked scrap metal and the like. The sanitary building has an unsightly appearance and does not deserve its name; you hardly want to enter it. The roof and also the skylights are overgrown with moss, the window frames as well as any shelves in the sanitary facilities are made of wood and have water stains or even black spots everywhere. There is a constant unpleasant smell, especially in the corridor area of the sanitary facilities. In the lake near the shore there are old car tires and washed concrete slabs, on the so-called "beach" there are rusty showers, boat racks, etc. that have not been used for umpteen years. The entire shore area, including the beach, is unkempt and is probably hardly ever used. On many vacant pitches there are remnants of former permanent campers such as old storage sheds, often half-ruined. The location on the lake is actually very beautiful. This makes the lack of maintenance of the site all the more regrettable. My impression was that many problems could easily be remedied with a little effort (even with limited financial resources) (e.g. removing garbage and scrap, pulling car tires out of the lake, removing moss from the sanitary windows, etc.), but the operators are obviously unwilling or unable to do so. The many empty pitches in the first row by the lake alone say a lot... We have rarely felt so uncomfortable on a pitch like this and therefore changed pitches after a short time.
