"Disappointment - Absolute disappointment. Arrived with the camper van, booked a comfortable pitch and then drove to the pitch. The signposting of the pitches is puzzling. Another camper colleague had filled three quarters of our pitch. So as not to cause any stress late in the evening, we squeezed our Crafter (8.10 m with rear bike rack) between the half-occupied pitch and a free one. The next day we raised the problem at reception and got the answer......... Someone must have been standing the wrong way round...... according to the motto.... If you are the son of God, help yourself.... There was no sense of responsibility to solve the problem. THANK YOU for NOTHING. We then decided to leave the site after two nights and moved on towards the North Sea. Conclusion. In future we will give this pitch a wide berth.

"Blonde ruler - The young blonde bitch behind the check-in and check-out desk was probably in a bad mood on a Sunday and acted like a dictator. That was the first and last time on the pitch.

"Does not work..... - We ended up there while looking for a parking space. We weren't allowed on the camper van pitch because we had a small trailer with us. We had to spend one night there...... the sanitary facilities appeared clean at first glance, but there was mold in the showers and it splashed everywhere. As for finding a pitch, we were sent off with the words.... pick a pitch and then come back. When we arrived back at reception, suddenly all the pitches were reserved.... hello, what's going on? Are you still okay? Why should I look at the pitches beforehand? This CP doesn't see me anymore, we paid 58 euros for a pitch, 2 people, electricity. Large beer, one p. of fries, one currywurst and POmmes 20 euros.... Never again.... The cycle path runs right through the campsite.......

"Good location but clearly too expensive - We visited the campsite for 3 nights. We particularly liked the location, as there are countless leisure opportunities. The pitch (comfort) was large enough and had electricity/water/waste water. What we didn't like so much about the campsite was the pricing. We were charged 37 euros for the comfort pitch with a camper van and 2 adults, plus a flat-rate electricity charge of 4 euros, making a total of 41 euros per day (excluding tourist tax). We found it annoying that we also had to pay for showers and hot water for washing dishes. Unfortunately, this kind of behavior can be found on more and more campsites in Germany. The same applies to the prices for sandwiches (1 euro) or a beer at the snack stand (5 euros), for example, and in a disposable plastic cup.

"Mass instead of class - dog-friendliness? - Restaurant NOT DOG-FRIENDLY - rather mass instead of class Beautiful location - we had a pitch right on the lake and in our part there were trees everywhere for a nice atmosphere. Site offers everything you need. The staff are friendly and accommodating - problems were solved very quickly. What bothered us were the premium pitch and dog-friendly ratings that the site advertises. Dogs: The dog is not allowed in ANY of the buildings - and therefore NOT IN THE RESTAURANT. So we didn't get any food at the campsite in the evening. The local pizza delivery service saved us. For a campsite that describes itself as dog-friendly, that's unacceptable. The dog could have been tied up in a dog parking lot - ok for getting bread rolls - but certainly not for going to a restaurant. Sanitary: the facilities are obviously quite new and modern - but unfortunately anything but clean. It was cleaned superficially, but there was several days' worth of dirt in the joints. The showers were covered in mold and the shelves for shower gel were rusty. The water stood in the anteroom after showering, which was due to the fact that the showers, as well as the taps, splashed in all directions. The toilets smelled very unpleasant throughout. The lack of basic cleanliness was also evident in the dishwashing rooms and the washing machine shed. Pricing policy: Water is charged in addition to the basic price. Not only for showering, but also for washing dishes. That's almost cheeky considering the prices for the space. If you have used too much water for the washing machine and the card is empty, you are left with no water at all for showering. You constantly have to make sure that you have enough money on your card. I don't think that's up to date any more. There is only one recycling point for the whole site in front of reception. The lighting of the paths in the evening is inadequate.
