"Great campsite with its own beach access - We were really pleasantly surprised - the place easily exceeded our expectations. The location is unique, the atmosphere great and the staff super friendly. The few minor issues with the sanitary facilities are easily forgiven. 👉 A clear recommendation - we'll be back!

"great place - It was our first time in Normandy, but the campsite made a good impression from the first to the last day. We wanted for nothing, everything was clean and well maintained. You can easily reach all the D-Day destinations by bike. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.

"INCREDIBLE. - We are now waiting almost 2 weeks for the refund of the €340 deposit. 300€ for the toilet / kitchen board booth 40€ for possible cleaning of the same which we left in tip top condition. We are now calling in our lawyer!

"Beautiful place with unbeatable views - The location of the campsite is the real highlight: directly above the coast of Omaha Beach with the very best view of the beach and coastline. Super! There are also pitches that offer this view directly from the motorhome, in which case the access road is a little bumpier. Ask at reception beforehand if you specifically want to stand there. The pitch is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so it's super quiet except for the sound of the sea and the seagulls. There are also various mobile homes, but the number of tourist pitches dominates the site. The pitches without shade are all on grass, parceled out with half-height hedges (with a sea view you are "freer") and are generously sized. There are two wash houses (all ok & quite clean, no toilet seats, but paper), a small covered swimming pool and a small store with bread roll service. The restaurant/café is also surprisingly good for a campsite. Vierville-sur-Mer is more of a very small village than a town and there is only one small store with a correspondingly limited range of products. The reception is friendly and professional and English-speaking, as is the store and restaurant. You walk down a small path to the beach, which promptly leads past a few old World War II bunkers. It's just Omaha Beach...  At the time of D-Day there was a lot of coming and going, hardly anyone stayed more than two or three nights. We felt quite comfortable, the site is beautifully situated on the coast and you can immediately take a great bike path above the cliffs to the Pointe du Hoc. Super!

"Great place on Omaha Beach - Beautiful spot above the cliffs with direct (but steep) access to the beach. Beautiful view of the sea. Sanitary facilities are ok and very clean. Bread can be ordered via QR code.

Flower Camping Omaha Beach is located directly on Omaha Beach in Normandy near Vierville-sur-Mer. From the cliffs high above the Atlantic Ocean, you look out over the sea. The view from the pitches on the beach is particularly beautiful. Dive …with your children in the swimming pool or walk to the beach. Collect shells, enjoy peace and quiet or learn about history: anything goes here. Every morning we bake bread and pastries to order. Our restaurant with terrace offers you a panoramic view of the sea. The simple and friendly cuisine allows you to eat with your family while enjoying various activities. Quick takeaway burgers, kebabs ... (July / August) The bar and grocery shop are open all day in high season. Pitches by the sea The well-maintained pitches are located on the camping site. There are no trees here, but there are hedges to separate them. You can enjoy the fresh sea air on your pitch. The most beautiful pitches are on the terraces by the beach. You can park your caravan high above the beach and the sea. The pitches are not fenced off and the view is fantastic. Playing on the campsite Take your whole family on holiday with you! Splash around together with your children in the covered swimming pool or jump on the bouncy castle. Your children will certainly not be bored. There is also a kids' club for the little ones. The older children can often be found on the football or basketball field. Omaha Beach The history of Omaha Beach is still alive here. Learn all about it at the war museum near the campsite or visit one of the other sights or bunkers in the area. On the beach itself, there is nothing left of what happened back then. Here, above all, you will find peace and quiet. Walk down a steep path from the campsite to the beach. Look for shells with the children and admire the high cliffs.
