"You can make more out of it... - We spent a weekend on the pitch in Nehren. Booking and check-in were easy, you are escorted to your pitch. Very good! The location is basically beautiful, but the pitches by the water seem to be reserved for permanent campers. To make matters worse, some of these permanent campers act as if they have something to say on this site (site police?), but don't follow the rules themselves in any way (wood fires and smoking up half the site, parking however you feel like it etc.). The sanitary facilities are on the 1st floor of the main building and can only be reached via a long steel staircase (outside - definitely "great" when it rains!). Unfortunately, there is no reference to this staircase on the homepage. It was torture for me as I've just had knee surgery. Unfortunately, this was the exact opposite of accessibility. What a pity! The toilets and showers could do with a deep clean. Lots of dust and cobwebs - it's easy to fix, you just have to do it! The prices in the store are also more than exorbitant! 3.80 EUR for a bottle of Coke - you're lost for words! It's cheaper at the highway service station! When it comes to power supply, things really get down to business! For example, a cable drum was plugged into the power box and then extended by two more cable drums. A total of 6 or 7 motorhomes/caravans were connected to it. Really dangerous and also forbidden! This is due to the fact that many of the power boxes are more than 25 meters away. You can't do without an additional cable reel or extension cable. Even our 25 m cable wasn't long enough and we had to use an extension cable that was already there. The site definitely has potential, the owner should make sure that he uses it and work on the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the catastrophic electrical infrastructure in particular! We won't be coming back for a while.

"Fine campsite for a week on the Moselle - Campsite definitely recommended for week of wine festivals. Good bicycle connections along Moselle👍.

"Very expensive and disappointing - Nice location, a bit scruffy and showers and toilets not that clean. We had two disabled people who struggled with the 27 steps up stairs to the toilets and showers. I esplained the problem to the owner and I was told that no camping places on the Mosel have toilets and facilities at ground level because of flooding - not true. We were charged 40 Euro per night although we had no electricity as the box was locked. The owner was rude and unhelpful and full time campers on the site we spoke to were also considering moving as the facilities like food and bar were more restricted now. Very disappointing and expensive.

"Positive overall picture - What can we say that other campers haven't already rated positively. We felt very comfortable there for a week. Via the direct Moselle cycle path you can reach Cochem after approx. 18 km, on the other side after approx. 2 km to Ediger-Eller with nice wine taverns, restaurants and shopping possibilities in a "corner store". Gladly again.

"Nice place and nice operators - We will definitely be back to ride our bikes and motorcycles. The food on site was good and reasonably priced.
