Positiiviset
Close to the water and village. Unbeatable price.
Negatiiviset
For the price you have to make some compromises in terms of the age of the buildings.
October 2021
Older square with buildings in need of renovation,
which are being partially repaired.
Friendly supervision and reasonable price.
The village is a 10-minute walk along the road.
The fortress is definitely worth a visit.
Small mini market and restaurant on site.
Partly shaded by nets.

everything ok
Stays for more than 15 years now
This place gives us everything we need. It is well maintained. The staff, including the manager, are friendly and helpful even in unusual situations. There is everything we need as motorhome owners and even more.

Positiiviset
Inexpensive, good food, shallow sandy beach
Negatiiviset
Simple, sometimes a bit noisy, as road, beach only accessible via thoroughfare
Friendly and inexpensive
Partly shaded, partly free seats. Uncomplicated and cozy. Sensational food at the campsite restaurant. Unbeatable price. Sandy beach with showers quickly accessible via the road.

Positiiviset
Close to the city, clean
Negatiiviset
Main road, no shade
Next to the road
Very bare pitch right next to the main road. Looks more like a transit site for one night. But clean and uncomplicated for motorhomes and close to town

An unforgettable stay.
Very nice campground recommended. Peace and quiet. Beautiful town and wonderful sights. Shallow water and sandy beach. All this in September. How in other months I do not know.

Positiiviset
Close to Methoni
Negatiiviset
Old - sanitary facilities in need of overhaul
Location quite nice place in need of overhaul
Well suited to see Methoni - but you certainly don't need more than 1-2 nights. - The beach in front of the campsite is quite OK (road in between). The place doesn't look very inviting, you can see that something is already being done - but there is still a lot to do.

Mediocre campground but very close to the town of Methoni. Can be convenient for visiting Methoni. Pitches are ample and shady. Bathroom facilities not outstanding. Very friendly staff.

In general the campsite could be said to be Average and tired. However, there is a major problem and issue of cleanliness and hygiene in the toilets and I would ask any officials who are not controlled by the local municipality and are reading this message to send for an inspection and possible sanctions... as they are rather dangerous for the holidaymakers. The toilets and bathrooms are very old, unsupported and mostly dirty with snaking 'dirty water' and generally the toilets stink and heat all day long. a cleaner coming very early is only enough for those lucky enough to go early 7-9, although she cleans at a height from 'head' and below... from 'head' and above is an aluminium job. Hot water for bathing is available until 6pm at the latest... Since the cabin is referred to as a "municipal", the municipality should look beyond its own town hall to the issue of hygiene and cleanliness...

Very nice and child-friendly owner couple. Beach directly at the campsite not a big hit, but 300m to the left super shallow and suitable for small children. Sanitary facilities 25 years old and sometimes not really clean.
