"Unacceptable sanitary facilities in winter. - We used the site for an overnight stay on our return journey from Spain. Spacious, well-paved pitches. Unfortunately, it borders directly on a railroad line with corresponding noise pollution. You should not(!) drive to the site using the satnav, otherwise you will be directed through a very narrow road through the village. The sanitary facilities are closed in winter, but they are still disgustingly filthy. There is a small heated sanitary building for the winter months, but it is in a completely unacceptable structural condition and was also completely filthy and overcooked. Not usable for us.

"Small CP with a great playground - The campsite is small and the staff are friendly. The private mobile homes give it an unusual atmosphere. There is a small supermarket and a bakery in Colombiers itself. The noise level is rather high, partly due to the train traffic on the tracks almost adjacent to the campsite.

"Good place with restrictions - Small, manageable site in the immediate vicinity of the Canal du Midi, very popular with cyclists, pitches more or less parceled out, sanitary facilities in order, internet via W-LAN for a fee, approx. 1 MBit/s, so not particularly fast. Unfortunately, mobile homes are also springing up here, which obviously attract a crowd that wants to let off steam for a weekend regardless of the cost. It's no fun if you're a vacationer in need of peace and quiet with a few days of annual leave and have to listen to the noise of wedding parties or similar family events late into the night. We have already experienced something similar at two other campsites this year alone (Camping Pont d'Avignon, Camping Massereau in Sommières). It seems to be an increasingly widespread phenomenon in France to fill campsites with mobile homes, turning what are actually quite good campsites into vacation home settlements with all their negative side effects. In our experience, tourists should avoid such sites or at least try to stay as far away as possible from such mobile homes.

"Insider tip with no ifs and buts - Manageable campsite on the outskirts of Colombiers. Well shaded. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Numerous mobile homes. Located directly on the Canal du Midi. Small shopping center with restaurants, supermarket, bakery at the port. More stores in the village. Large supermarkets 2 km away. Close to Béziers and Narbonne. Sandy beaches in Vendres-Plage and Vandras-Plage approx. 15 minutes away by car.

Take the A9 or A75 to Béziers, then follow signs to Colombiers. In the village, follow directions to the “Canal du Midi.” The campsite is located at 7 Promenade de l'Ancien Stade – just 300 m from the canal.
