"over priced - although a beautiful site, it is small and the pitches are really only for small tents our camper is <7.00m long and it took some careful manoeuvres to get it on the pitch

Profiilini

Camping Le Mouretou is a small campsite in the Cévennes National Park. This campsite is located in the valley of the river Hérault. You camp here in small camping areas that offer a view of the surrounding mountains. Mont Aigoual, …whose summit is thirty kilometres from the campsite, is the highest mountain in the Gard department. It's worth going up the mountain (by car or bike) because the view is beautiful. Small camping areas The camping area of Le Mouretou campsite is located on a branch of the Hérault. A babbling brook flows along the campsite. There are 25 touring pitches, sufficiently large, situated in small camping areas in the open countryside. This gives you the real camping feeling: camping in nature and silence. The rental accommodation can be described as special. In addition to mobile homes, there are some cosy lodge tents and bivouac tents on poles. Swimming pool and river Right at the entrance of the campsite, in a sheltered spot between bushes, hedges and trees, is the swimming pool. The outdoor pool is not big, but that is not necessary on a small campsite. The children also like to go to the river. Within a few steps you are at the calmly flowing water, where you can splash or build dams. Pizza You will find conviviality and delicious food in the campsite's restaurant. The fact that this restaurant is also used for weddings and events is evident from the professionalism and good food. Sit down in the cosy restaurant or on the large terrace and have a pizza from the wood-fired oven and a big cup of ice cream.
