Peace and relaxation. A warm welcome, without any red tape,
Negatiiviset
There's not much going on in town, and the bus doesn't run on schedule. But that's not Hubert's fault,
A real gem!
We actually wanted to go to the campground by the lake, but it was dead quiet—just long-term campers, a fence all around, a locked gate, and the bistro was closed. Then we stumbled upon this place by chance and were immediately welcomed warmly (we could pick any spot we wanted, and we have until tomorrow... to check in).
What caught our eye: plenty of electrical outlets and water faucets everywhere, a lovingly furnished common room with a large book-swap shelf, and self-service drinks.
Okay, the walk to town is a bit longer, and the bus doesn’t run as indicated on the schedule. And the nearest restaurant is called Babo’s Grill—very friendly, but really just a snack bar. There’s supposedly a seafood restaurant as well, but the locals honestly said: “Better not…”
But that’s not the Hubert family’s fault. And we’d love to come back.

Positiiviset
Pure peace and relaxation, but for those who want and need it, there are also plenty of opportunities for sporting activities. And Goldberg is well organized in terms of supply.
Negatiiviset
Unfortunately, Goldberg is too far away from me, Saxony, otherwise I would be here more often.
Pure relaxation !
I stayed at this small, privately run campsite with my Labi at the beginning of July '25 and after 15 days I returned home relaxed and refreshed (unfortunately). Very nice and helpful operators, this small place has everything that big ones have, except the bread service. To the bath 150m, in the further... surroundings countless possibilities for cycling, hiking or other leisure activities. Shopping facilities for various products in Goldberg, max. 3 km away. And if you absolutely need "culture" on vacation, you can also go here. A monastery complex, an observation tower or exploring the surrounding towns will not leave you bored for long. Whenever my travels take me in this direction, I know exactly where to stay.

Positiiviset
Really cozy and quiet owner-managed place. The owner is a real character and very warm and relaxed.
Negatiiviset
Dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, there are always some barkers who disturb the peace and quiet.
Small quiet place
Really cozy and quiet owner-managed place. No screaming children and no loud partying teenagers. Pitches with a choice of sun or shade. Quite a short walk to the lake. The sanitary facilities are small but always clean. As the site was not very full, it was sufficient. Great location for numerous excursions.

Attention
So, Peter was on the campsite - Goldberger See, with his statement everything was right from this place, but at Campingplatz Hubert it does not look like that at all. It is an idyllic little campsite, sanitary facilities very well maintained and clean. The smallest camping kitchen in Europe is perfectly adequate. We will spend our vacation there next summer.

Positiiviset
- None
Negatiiviset
- very unkempt - no structure - dangerous electricity installation - closed snack bar
Be careful with this place
We came to this CP on 18.06.2016 through the search of Camping.info and it hit us the horror. The place is without an operator a permanent camper sat in the closed snack bar and he already had problems taking my name. The site itself was very unkempt, the grass was calf-high and when this nice permanent... camper wanted to connect us to the electricity, I was shocked. Loose cables with loose meters and everything was really wet. We then decided to leave the site in a hurry. Also worth mentioning is the plague of mosquitoes - 10 bites just when I got out of the car.

Quiet, well-kept place with attention to detail. Prices very pleasant
Negatiiviset
I don't know any, but will add them later
Hubert's camping world is in order
Well, I'll catch up, were there in the fall of 2015, and first we were greeted by peace and a well-kept facility, then Mr. Hubert :-) We felt very comfortable there and enjoyed the luxury of simplicity. The restaurant within sight contributed to this. As far as the CP is concerned, always a good choice

Peace and quiet on the pitch.
Lovely short break to explore the surrounding area.
Great value for money. Showers cost only €0.50 for four minutes. We received a friendly welcome from Mr. Hubert. Everything went smoothly.

Positiiviset
absolute peace, price performance, friendliness
Negatiiviset
Shopping facilities 2km away e.g. bread rolls
Super quiet place on the arm of the world
Camping Hubert is characterized by nothing, because there is nothing. But that in turn ensures absolute peace and relaxation. In April there was only one other camper on the site with us. The nearest town is 2 km away, but unfortunately there isn't really anything going on there either, but you can go... shopping for your daily needs. A hotel with restaurants is only 100m away from the campsite, but as you have a car or bike, it's worth making some nice trips to the surrounding area. The campsite is really very informal and absolutely clean. It is a good idea to take a flashlight to the washrooms in the evening. Unfortunately, these are not heated, but this is understandable given the low number of visitors. Top for the price.

A very quiet, cozy campsite on the high shore of Lake Goldberg. Very uncomplicated handling, due to the size of the site (max. 50 units) no driving bans and rest periods, arrival and departure possible at any time (departure also in the afternoon without extra charge). Top price-performance ratio. Free... choice of pitch on arrival. Mr. Hubert takes great care of his guests. He is out of the house during the day and always visits all his guests in the evening to find out how they are and what their wishes are. The dishwashing room is the smallest I have ever seen:-))-see pictures. Sanitary facilities quite small, not a problem at our time with about 50% occupancy. Sanitary cleanliness acceptable. No bread service, but bakery and supermarket 1.5 km away. Restaurant in the hotel (approx. 50 m) or in Goldberg (approx. 2 km), snack bar on the lake (100 m). Bathing area (public - no entrance fee) approx. 100 m away with sunbathing lawn, playground, water slide, bathing jetty. We felt at home and would love to come back.

Very nice place for guests who want peace and quiet. We had no problems with the sanitary facilities. Above all, they were super clean. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert are hard to beat in terms of their helpfulness and friendliness. It was an all-round successful stay on this site. Many thanks for a super vacation. Barbara and Bernd N.

The campsite is in a quiet location. Mr. Hubert is a very helpful person. You have a feeling of belonging to the family here. The campsite is locked at night. Unfortunately there is no bread service, but the stores are about 1km away (Aldi, bakery, etc.). The sanitary facilities are clean and very well... maintained, but unfortunately too few for an occupied pitch (1 shower and 2 toilets each for men and women). My wife and I liked it very much and we would love to come back.
