The pitches are large and very well maintained. We were there with our Morelo (9.60 m long) and on almost all pitches you are in the front row directly on the Moselle. The campsite is run by a very nice family. They... really do everything they can to make their guests happy. Dogs are also warmly welcomed and there is no shortage of treats. Our Carlos (Doodle) is also very happy!
We like to visit the restaurant on the square, my husband is a total fan of the currywurst that is offered there, but whether currywurst, schnitzel or hamburger it all tastes very delicious. The price/performance ratio is definitely right.
We feel completely at home here and always enjoy coming back.

I was at the Happy Holiday campsite in mid-September and I liked it very much. the location is unique directly on the water and opposite Beilstein close to the ferry. the plots are generously sized. the sanitary building is older but clean. the restaurant is highly recommended.

The sanitary facilities are dirty (also the showers) and were not cleaned after request. The entire campsite is unkempt. You had to mow the lawn yourself.
After contacting the staff, only excuses followed.

Whoever... arrives on this day can take his name on a list with a notice, but everyone can see this. Since it hangs on the window at the registration (no data protection)

The location, directly on the Moselle with a view of the Metternich castle ruins, is simply fascinating.
The sanitary facilities are not in the most modern condition, but always clean.
From the campsite on the wine route, you can go on a lot of tours by bike. We recommend the path right by the campsite through the vineyards.

The pitches are lined up in two rows along the Moselle. We were in the front row and were able to watch the hustle and bustle on the Moselle every day over a nice glass of wine. The number of cruise ships passing... by is considerable.
Excursions on foot and by bike along the Moselle (Moselle cycle path) or through the vineyards - the campsite is a good starting point.
The ferry landing stage to Beilstein is right next to the campsite.
Cochem is 10 km away, Koblenz approx. 60 km.
The sanitary building is simple, but functional and clean.
The restaurant on the site is recommended.

The reception in a rustic construction trailer, a small snack restaurant with refreshingly friendly service, an ice cream van with a fun ice cream vendor right next to the site and bus stop next to it, ferry to Beilstein nearby ... and all at moderate prices with a magnificent view. The operator is very friendly and accommodating. The reception is housed in an original construction trailer. The only drawback: the power points are very far apart and the sanitary facilities are outdated but clean. The showers are only accessible via stairs in... a container, not suitable for people with disabilities. Some investment could be made here. The fee could also be raised for this. Otherwise, the price for a pitch is unbeatable.

Not much has changed over the years. Staff nice and helpful, sanitary facilities also getting on in years, but clean when we were there, and if not it was usually the campers themselves. What we didn't think was right was that permanent campers simply disposed of their grass and shrub cuttings in the Moselle. Jörg M.heinäkuu 2014Once again thrilled!!!Unfortunately, we can only give one rating at this point.we were once again on this great place.we have been coming back again and again since 2010.this place is beautifully situated.certainly one of the most beautiful on the Moselle (in which you can also swim without hesitation).the restaurant is highly... recommended.however, the sanitary facilities are still a point of deficiency.something urgently needs to be done here.despite their age, they were always very clean. Extra stars for the staff, who make you feel very comfortable and always welcome.
