"Well-kept campsite (for cyclists) - The campsite is very well maintained, modern and beautifully laid out. The pitches are large enough and in a great location, especially on the shore. However, the prices are correspondingly high. Electricity a little too expensive. Overall, it is pleasantly quiet on the site, despite the numerous dogs. The atmosphere is good. People greet each other. There are plenty of cycle paths for the many cyclists, without any steep inclines. We can't judge the sanitary facilities as we didn't use them. But everything seems tip top... Very friendly owners. Good organization (entry-exit - QR code). Region not very suitable for hikers. Too few hiking trails, too many cyclists without bells. Annoying. Sparse signposting of the not well-maintained paths. Due to the modern design of the CP (entrance and exit with QR code) there is hardly any contact with the staff/owner. This is logistically and for the processes/organization of the CP absolutely contemporary, but you have a little feeling of anonymity. Perhaps this means that customer loyalty is lost a little? We had zero contact with the staff/owner in 8 days. Doesn't necessarily have to be a disadvantage. Bread roll service/kiosk in this price range should be ON the pitch and not a 10-minute walk away. Mini farm stores useless as a replacement for the kiosk (no change), hardly any offer. Several guests disregard the ban on charcoal barbecues. Smell included. The site is generally very clean. The owner helps out herself. Top. However, the staff clean the inside of the sleeping barrels with butts in their mouths. Disgusting. Dog excrement on our pitch (leash requirement is often disregarded).

"Transit area on the A7 - We were missing a small job with bread service and gas bottle sales. As a passionate barbecue fan, I don't like the ban on charcoal barbecues at all. Long distances for disposal. What was nice was the newly restored sanitary building. We did not test the restaurant. QR code at the barrier only works to a limited extent. The site is in a beautifully idyllic location in the Fulda valley directly on the Fulda cycle path. Beautiful paths for walks

"Good transit campsite - The Fuldaschleife is a very nice site and the negative points are also whining at a high level. For the enthusiast and the perfect camping experience, it would be nice if the points of criticism were dealt with. But as the site has a very high occupancy rate, I don't think the operator will change much. Especially because you can see that many visitors are only passing through the Fuldaschleife.

"Unknown - First the positive: Getting here is more than straightforward using the QR code. It's super easy to find your pitch. Once you arrive and set up, nature is inviting, whether for a short or long walk! Here's the first big plus point: dog waste dispensers at the entrance. I think that's great! You can definitely hear the A7, but in my opinion it's not at all annoying. Now, unfortunately, two major shortcomings: Super modern sanitary facilities but incredibly unkempt and unhygienic. Despite being closed daily from 11am to 3pm for cleaning, there is unfortunately dirt, cobwebs and dust everywhere. A basic cleaning has unfortunately been a long time ago. Likewise the showers. Good principle with a small changing room in front of the showers (people, don't make a fuss about the size!) but the feel-good factor in terms of cleanliness is missing there too :-( There is so much potential, please use it! The second drawback is having to walk right past the restaurant's beer garden with a full toilet cassette/grey water tank. That was very unpleasant for me...perhaps a privacy screen or other ideas could be implemented there.

"Very nice, always happy to return! - The site is beautifully situated in the Fuldaschleife. We received a very warm welcome from the operators. Later check-in would also have been possible thanks to the QR code access. A lot of time/money/work has been invested in the whole site, site boundaries are new, planting too... The sanitary facilities are new and very nicely done.

Camping Fuldaschleife – right on the river Holiday feeling in the middle of untouched nature! You will stay overnight at the romantic Fulda loop near the idyllic village of Guxhagen with its dreamlike half-timbered houses (14 km from Kassel) directly …on the riverbank of the Fulda in Büchenwerra. Book your favourite spot! Motorhome parking space, caravan parking space, riverside parking space, private bathroom, rental accommodation, a place on our community or tent meadow. Each parceled parking space is equipped with electricity and WiFi. Our new restaurant ‘Weltenbummler's’ on the campsite is open. Coffee, ice cream, cake, a cool drink and, of course, fine dishes on the new terrace and in the beautiful winter garden. Enjoy fresh, regional specialities in a relaxed atmosphere. During the summer season, you will also find a snack bar with fresh bread rolls (open until 24 September 2024), two self-service farm shops with regional products and the long-established Gasthaus Hartung restaurant in the village (350 m away) to indulge your culinary tastes. We look forward to seeing you!
