"Camping Duinhorst - Nice and cozy campsite where we have been coming for 14 years. Friendly staff, neat and clean sanitary facilities, many play opportunities for children, swimming pool. Many possibilities for accommodation, log cabin, tent on tractor field, tent on reserved comfort pitch, various types of pitches for touring or mobile homes. Close to stores, beach and dunes. Beautiful surroundings for cycling. A wonderful place!

"Very nice campsite - Clean and quiet campsite, Showers cost 50 cents for about 6 minutes. Perfectly adequate and I was happy to pay that for the clean sanitary facilities. There is enough hot water to wash the dishes. I think that's ok when you see how some people on other campsites leave the water running the whole time when washing up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a racecourse next door. It's busy from 7.30am, but that didn't bother us. Good starting point for cycling tours to The Hague and surroundings. For a trip by car to Rotterdam or other cities you should book a parking garage ticket online. The day ticket costs about 12 € . Otherwise it will be expensive. I can only recommend the place.

"City and sea all nearby - The pitches for the tourist campers are arranged like in a soccer stadium. The pitches are the pitches and the grandstand is the access road and parking lot. Theoretically, the pitches are grassy areas. If your predecessor had laid out a tent or a carpet table for a week, there is of course only dirt. And there is no shade on the pitch. There is a mini market, which also has a bread roll service. And there is a restaurant, but we didn't go there, so we can't say anything about it. The sanitary facilities were always clean. What was new for us was that there were shower cubicles for everyone in one room and the washbasins in front of them were also for everyone. So no separation of male and female. But that didn't bother us either.

"Campsite in the countryside - The site is located in a park-like area, about 7 km from The Hague. The reception was very friendly. The pitches are large, level and have their own water connection. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. The showers and hot water for washing dishes cost 50 cents. The city center of The Hague can be reached by bike in about 20 minutes. A supermarket is about 2 km away. Trips to Scheveningen or Delft can be made by bike, but are also easy to manage with a day ticket for public transport.

"Perfect - Nice campsite with friendly staff at the reception. Sanis always clean. Small kiosk with bread service on site. Pool available and everything always looks very well maintained. Good restaurant on site. But the best thing is the cycle paths everywhere. The Hague, Leiden and beautiful Delft can be reached within a maximum radius of 15 km via a very good network of cycle paths. The Hague is only about 4 km away. We really enjoyed the many museums and the flair there.

"Campsite close to the city - Sanitary facilities a bit small when it's full, but very clean (praise to the cleaning team), 6 minute showers cost €0.50 (ok) but flushing water also costs (€0.20) that's not necessary. Great starting point for The Hague, Scheveningen and Delft. As usual in the Netherlands, great cycle paths directly from the campsite. Fresh bread rolls from 8.30 am, camper pitches very good (electricity and water directly at the pitch).

Profiilini

Campsite Duinhorst is a perfect base for a very pleasant stay in the green Wassenaar area. Guests who visit our campsite are generally families with children up to the age of 12, but certainly sometimes seniors too. Our campsite is …perfect for those looking for some tranquillity and nature lovers. The centre of The Hague is a mere 5 kms from our campsite. The Hague is very easily accessible by car, bicycle or using public transport. The Hague is home to museums, a large range of shops, plus plenty of lovely restaurants and terraces. The surrounding towns, including Delft, Leiden, Haarlem, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, offer a variation of (cultural) delights. Scheveningen, the Netherlands’ most popular seaside resort, is only 4 kms away. Here you can enjoy a day at the beach, or a stroll along the boulevard with its fantastic beach pavilions. The firework festival is an annual event in Scheveningen. We can also recommend the Wassenaarse Slag if you prefer a somewhat quieter beach. You will also be able to find Madurodam and the Duinrell amusement park in the direct vicinity of our campsite. Pets are unfortunately not permitted on our campsite. We look forward to receiving you as guests on our campsite. Check-in from 12.00 hours till 23.00 hours
