"It was very good - It was a great vacation, Yohann and Virginie were very friendly and always took care of the guests. Pitches are huge, sanitary facilities were also clean, if it comes up again I like to drive 1200km for 3 weeks vacation.

Located in the far east of the Savoie region, right on the border with Haute-Savoie and near Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny, Camping Lac de Carouge offers a peaceful setting by the lake and a stunning mountain backdrop. The nearby Mont Blanc massif, on …the French-Italian border, makes this the perfect base for exciting nature trips and outdoor activities. You can choose between three pitch categories: Nature (90–140 m², no electricity), Confort (with electricity), and Privilège (with electricity and water). This makes the campsite ideal for longer stays. If you have a specific preference, it’s best to book in advance online – especially in high season, when options can be limited. For more comfort, you can rent a chalet, safari tent or mobile home, all equipped with private bathrooms. Families with children will feel right at home here. There’s a kids’ club with daily activities (except Saturdays), lovingly organized by the on-site team. For older children, there are sports and games on offer. You also have free access to the public swimming pool just 800 m away. Of course, you can also swim in the lake, enjoy a pedal boat ride, or go fishing – with lifeguards present in summer. If you’re craving more adventure, take part in guided mountain excursions (for a fee). Whether it’s via ferrata, canyoning through wild gorges, or scenic hikes – this region is full of exciting outdoor experiences.

Take the A43 motorway and exit at Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny. Follow the signs towards the lake (Lac de Carouge). After about 2 km, turn onto Route du Lac. The campsite is located at number 495, just next to the lake.
