"A great short vacation with the family - We really liked the campsite: suitable offers for the children (almost 3 years), lots of play opportunities, great swimming pool, pitches were clean A small point deduction for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. The facilities were good - especially for the children - but the cleanliness sometimes left a lot to be desired

"Weekend trip - Check in without visiting the reception Arrived after 13h, barrier with deposited number plate, could go straight in to the pitch. Previously registered with Mein Demolenhof via the app, face recognition for the swimming pool totally easy, everything worked out great. Been there for the 5th time. Fishing pond great in the 3 days about 10 carp caught. Children knew their way around. Quiet location, was little occupied. Dog with us great. Not far to the sanitary building... lazy checkout Always happy to return, no stress on departure. We will be back anytime. We love de Molenhof, clean friendly, suitable for dogs for children mega place to play and make friends

"A great campsite for a short vacation with children and grandchildren - We stayed at this great campsite for a short week with our 6-year-old grandson. Our pitch for the caravan was nice and large and the site was also very well laid out. There was a nice, sufficiently large wash house nearby and the site's attractions were also within easy walking distance. In my opinion, the campsite is highly recommended for families with children! Everything has been thought of here, even for the little ones. When staying in the otherwise beautiful swimming pool area, you have to accept that you can cool off, but hardly swim ;-). But this was probably also due to the really great weather and the vacations in the Netherlands and NRW, because the place was really well attended, almost full :-). We felt really comfortable there and will definitely be back.

"Very good campsite with small children - We stayed at this campsite for just over a week in August and wondered why there was still so much free when we booked a month before. You can choose your own pitch very precisely thanks to 360 pictures and a precise description of the pitch. But that's a good thing because there aren't that many pitches in the shade. Fortunately, we paid attention to this, which was good because it was very hot here. But when we got there, the site was well booked. The people on site (whether stuff or visitors) were all friendly. The campsite itself offers everything you could wish for with a young family. Each area has its own playground and the equipment is not repetitive. They are also aimed at different age groups. There is even a large covered playground. There is also a good entertainment program, with a mini disco, foam party, arts and crafts and painting, circus event, etc. They come up with a lot of ideas. Unfortunately, everything is only in Dutch. Being so close to the German border, I would have liked it to be in German as well. But the children were able to understand it. And they sometimes played loud music across the square to pick up the children, which is a good idea in itself, but when you want to put the little baby to bed and it wakes up again, it's stupid. There is a store, restaurants, snack bar, pizza etc. on the campsite itself. They also understand German or English there. There is also a pool with a slide (the roof is closed when it rains) and a children's area with slides. The sanitary buildings are nice in themselves and are cleaned often (twice a day). However, ours was comparatively small and was therefore often full and sometimes dirty. But it was still ok. All in all, a great place for families with small children (and dogs), which we will definitely visit again.

"Camping - We liked the place very much it was nice and quiet. Too bad that the animation is only in Dutch but our girls still had fun and just joined in :) . The fact that the swimming pool is open until 9 pm is a huge plus and for a short weekend vacation we had a lot of fun :). We will be back soon

Rated with 5 Stars and Best Camping In a woodland setting, in the heart of the Twente region, this well-equipped campsite is ideally suited to family holidays. An excellent base for a wide choice of discovery trips. Deluxe pitches at …no extra charge with water, electric hook-up (8, 12 or 16 amps), drainage and cable tv hook-up. Excellent toilet blocks! De Molenhof is a pleasant family site. It has 450 well laid out pitches of which all with water, drainage, electricity and cable connections. Children will enjoy themselves in the covered, adventure playground or the two heated swimming pools (one outdoor, one covered) with a large slide on the outside.
