Nice little capping place
We stayed at this campsite twice during our tour of Sweden in July 2025. If you want to camp there for longer at this time, you should reserve a pitch. We were able to stay in the area without electricity both times. We liked the site because it only has about 60 pitches and the sanitary building, although... a little older, was always clean. The two kitchens with dishwashing facilities are also worth mentioning. Above all, however, the friendly German operator and his equally friendly staff were very welcoming, even though we "only" came for an overnight stay. We have already made a note of this campsite for our next trip to Sweden so that we can stay a little longer.

Camping with heart
Our stay at Bolmens Camping was one of our personal highlights of our vacation in Sweden. Starting with the super-friendly operator John and his entire staff. We loved the location by the lake and above all the relaxed general atmosphere. The so-called renovation backlog in the sanitary facilities mentioned... in other reviews is perhaps understandable, but it in no way diminished our positive impression. With regard to cleanliness, I would like to say that the cleanliness of the toilet facilities mostly depends on the attitude of the guests and not on a constantly dedicated staff who have to remove the guests' dirt.
For us, this is true glamping. Camping with heart.

We wanted to spend a few more days in the south of Sweden after a completely unforgettable No stay (2017!!). Unfortunately, the campsite to the north that we know no longer exists. So we landed here around 19.45. Reception already closed( ?!) so called the cell phone number. We were directed to a meadow.... Later someone came to unlock the power box. Registration the next day was very friendly. You can walk very nicely by the lake and through the woods. Absolutely quiet. However, the sani facilities need a major overhaul, for a few quiet days the place is enough. The Hölzels

Well
We were here as a stopover on the way north. The campsite further north that we had actually been aiming for no longer existed. Free choice of pitch, although the pitches were not really recognizable, which was evident in the confusion of the WWs and tents already set up. Toilets in another service building... were locked and only reserved for certain people with a key. The service facilities we used were outdated and worn. I would not choose this site for a longer stay.

An idyllic spot right on the lake with a free choice of pitches. You can cycle endlessly along Lake Bolmen and find very secluded jetties that invite you to swim.
