Lonely place beautifully situated in the forest
The site is beautifully situated in the forest below Trosky Castle, which is within easy walking distance. The site offers little infrastructure but plenty of nature and tranquillity. There is hardly any traffic on the road during the day and almost none at night. You can hike directly from the site... or explore the nearby sandstone cliffs on your own. The sanitary facilities are very basic but clean. The only problem: if the site is busy at the weekend, there may simply not be enough showers. There is a small kitchenette under the canopy of the sanitary building with a number of washing-up areas. Unfortunately, there is no separate facility for emptying the chemical toilet. The operator is very friendly, relaxed, helpful and you can also chat a little (in English). During the week, we had the site all to ourselves one evening, as the operator went home in the evening. The campsite is ideal for families with children. Next to the CP-Ziege there is an Indian tepee and the forest to run around in. Campfires can also be made. The site is also suitable as a starting point for trips and activities in the Czech paradise. We felt very comfortable there.
