Lets be straight, this is an old site the toilet.shower facilities are dated and the cabins have seen better days in general BUT it is kept exceptionally clean, staff are friendly, prices are good and include all extras such as showers, electric in the cabins, use of 2 ring cooker, fridge, pots and pans... and bedding. The site is lovely and quiet and close proximity to many attractions. There is a small bar/restaurant on site service excellent beer and good basic food at very good prices. There is a small lake ideal for children of all ages ( quite shallow) If you want all singing all dancing camping this is not for you but if you want a clean friendly well priced site in a quiet location then give it a go, we will certainly return

Very friendly and helpful management, the sanitary facilities are clean but very basic. In general, the site gives the impression that the funds for ongoing maintenance are rather limited. However, this may also be due to the fact that we were there in the low season. The location is beautiful and extremely... quiet. However, it is incomprehensible that we were charged extra for filling up with water before continuing our journey. As an overnight stay, however, it was perfectly OK.
