"Overpriced. - It could actually be a very cozy and nice campsite if the operators were a little more flexible, more accommodating, more responsive to guests' wishes and had a better price-performance ratio. This forced alignment of motorhomes and caravans gives the impression of a military barracks: everything in "rank and file". And we prefer to position ourselves on the pitches according to our preferences (for sun, shade, view, wind, facing others in the group, etc.) and not in a way that suits the operators. Just uncomfortable. The pitches are quite large and yet, cars have to be parked in the parking lot. Inconvenient. Barbecue area is nice but far away. Everything has to be carried there, awkward walking back and forth. Only a few water taps available on the site. However, the campsite has an exceptionally beautiful sauna area, sauna fans will certainly get their money's worth! Really great! Nice children's playground but a pool would definitely be better for the kids. Our small group checked out a few campsites in the area beforehand and all were full except Walch's Camping. The operator obviously doesn't care why his campsite is so empty and the others are full. Both when we arrived (second half of August) and when we left (beginning of Sept.), the campsite was completely empty. I wonder why? It's simply too expensive for what it is! Take a look at the prices on the net: for electricity, WLAN, dog, etc. Unfortunately record prices! When a friend of mine left early (2 days earlier), the operator was not prepared to show any goodwill or make any concessions: he was charged the full price for the reserved time. I've only experienced this when booking hotels with flights, but not on a campsite. No go... More flexibility, a better price-performance adjustment and goodwill on the part of the operator would do the campsite good and certainly ensure more guests.

"A campsite just the way I like it - Congratulations to the Walch family! A wonderful place with all the amenities a camper could wish for. Spacious wellness area. Very clean. Extremely friendly staff. You are welcome here. With the guest card we could take the bus to Bludenz and from there to Feldkirch free of charge. Casual region for biking. We will be back Harry Huber from Graz

"Boring and expensive campsite - This year we spent 10 days traveling with our grandchildren in our motorhome (10 days). We were mainly in Switzerland, then also in Austria and Germany. Walch's campsite was by far the most expensive place on the whole trip!!! Even the campsites in Switzerland were cheaper. Walch's campsite was also the most boring campsite on the whole trip. The grandchildren couldn't do anything. If you wanted to do anything, you had to take the OV's. There is nothing nearby. If you don't know your way around the internet, you're screwed. You have to find everything online. Even the Bludenz-Klostertal-Brandnertal Card. Only on your cell phone. After one night we all didn't want to stay any longer. Unfortunately, we had booked for three nights. Of course, we paid the money for the remaining 2 nights in vain. We then found a campsite in Germany that was much cheaper and there was a lake for swimming right next to the campsite (3 minutes' walk). There was a climbing park about 10 minutes' walk away. These are recommended campsites. We will certainly not be coming to Walch's campsite again! Elsbeth

"Great vacation in a beautiful area - The site is very well located. The access is easy and the surroundings offer everything the outdoor heart desires. We hiked every day and then relaxed in the wellness area. We also appreciate the good restaurants, which are within walking distance.

"Stay August 2023 - The boss is friendly, yes! Unfortunately, the place is overpriced, the price is not there. Bread roll service at horrendous prices, even here in Germany everything has become more expensive, but you can't add to that. No affordable restaurants in the village (even if the boss cooks himself). Supermarket has everything, is ok. Black mold in the ladies' showers was not cleaned up in 2 weeks!!! And whoever started charging for dogs had a good idea. 5€/day for a bucket of water/week, very lucrative. What is the environmental charge used for/calculated for? The kw/h is also too expensive.
