"Overpriced - It could actually be a very pleasant campsite if the operators were a bit more flexible. On the pitches there is a predetermined direction for the camper van: door to the sanitary building. This makes it look like barracks in a military barracks: all in "rank and file" at the edge of the plot. The pitches are very large, but the cars have to be parked somewhere else. Barbecue area is nice but far away, which means constant running back and forth if you have forgotten something, altogether inconvenient. Few water taps on the site. Our group unfortunately overlooked the "small print" when booking. As with a hotel reservation with a flight, the operators want full payment even if you leave early. Very unusual for a campsite. There was a stink because they didn't want to do without it and even charged my buddy tourist tax and environmental fee, despite my absence. I could understand it if the campsite had been full and they had had to send other interested parties away because of us. But the opposite was the case: dead on arrival (high season, second half of August), yawning emptiness on departure (early Sept.). Free pitches everywhere, almost no tents, totally under-occupied and yet they insisted on full payment. In summer I only know flat-rate electricity charges, not here: 1.5 € KwS! Record price! Record price: dog, €5.5! for what??? Shower or sauna?? And another record price: 4 € for one (1) day WLAN! I've never experienced anything so absurd... :-( As mentioned in the advantages, only sauna fans will certainly get their money's worth here. The sauna area is exceptionally good, really unique for a campsite. More flexibility and better price-performance adjustment would do the campsite good and attract more guests.

"No accommodation for early departure - We had booked in advance for 5 days. When we checked in online, we were asked how long we would be staying. We only specified 3 days because a family member was ill. When we checked out after 3 days, we were charged the full amount of over €50 per day for 5 days. Without any concession or understanding for our situation. We were charged the local tax and the environmental fee for the full 5 days. After repeated inquiries about the disproportionality of the environmental fee and the lack of understanding of the situation, the bill was printed with a cold expression on the face and there was no concession or compromise! I have never experienced a kilowatt hour of electricity for 1.30 euros on any campsite. Furthermore, at 50 euros per day, 4 euros are also charged for Wi-Fi. I have never experienced this before. In my opinion, this campsite is completely overpriced and a rip-off! We will certainly never come to this cold place again!

"A campsite just the way I like it - Congratulations to the Walch family! A wonderful place with all the amenities a camper could wish for. Spacious wellness area. Very clean. Extremely friendly staff. You are welcome here. With the guest card we could take the bus to Bludenz and from there to Feldkirch free of charge. Casual region for biking. We will be back Harry Huber from Graz

"Boring and expensive campsite - This year we spent 10 days traveling with our grandchildren in our motorhome (10 days). We were mainly in Switzerland, then also in Austria and Germany. Walch's campsite was by far the most expensive place on the whole trip!!! Even the campsites in Switzerland were cheaper. Walch's campsite was also the most boring campsite on the whole trip. The grandchildren couldn't do anything. If you wanted to do anything, you had to take the OV's. There is nothing nearby. If you don't know your way around the internet, you're screwed. You have to find everything online. Even the Bludenz-Klostertal-Brandnertal Card. Only on your cell phone. After one night we all didn't want to stay any longer. Unfortunately, we had booked for three nights. Of course, we paid the money for the remaining 2 nights in vain. We then found a campsite in Germany that was much cheaper and there was a lake for swimming right next to the campsite (3 minutes' walk). There was a climbing park about 10 minutes' walk away. These are recommended campsites. We will certainly not be coming to Walch's campsite again! Elsbeth

"Great vacation in a beautiful area - The site is very well located. The access is easy and the surroundings offer everything the outdoor heart desires. We hiked every day and then relaxed in the wellness area. We also appreciate the good restaurants, which are within walking distance.
