The grounds were well-maintained, the newly built restroom facilities were great and clean—there’s even a dog shower 😀👍—and the staff was very friendly. The location on Lake Bergwitz is unique, and the water is clean and crystal-clear, with an abundance of fish.

The beach area is especially great, with volleyball, a playground, and a snack bar. The new Sanitary Building 3 there is also fantastic.
However, we were staying near Sanitary Building 1, where the premium campsites are located. This building is in terrible condition. It would be nice if the cleaning of Sanitary Building IV were a little better. In my opinion, unfortunately, the cleaning is too superficial and, compared to Sanitary Building III (the new building),... significantly worse. Sure, experienced campers can deal with it, but this is my—and our—opinion, and the operators should be aware of it. The campground’s location is very nice. You can go on some really beautiful bike rides, whether to Wittenberg, FERROPOLIS, or wherever else. In Bergwitz, there’s a relatively new NETTO supermarket with a very decent bakery. (a five-minute bike ride away)
In conclusion, I have to say it was a wonderful vacation—right on the lake, surrounded by nature, and in a beautiful area. We’ll definitely be coming back to visit you in the coming years and will certainly recommend this campground.

The trailer site was exceptionally large, the restroom facilities were clean, and everything we needed was there. What’s not at all convincing, though, is the cleanliness of the restrooms—which is no surprise, since the cleaning staff seems more interested in smoking and drinking coffee. On top of that, people are already shouting... loudly across the campground as early as 6:30 a.m. There’s a new, very nice washhouse. The washhouse for the deluxe sites, however, is old and really disgusting. It reeks of urine, is just plain dirty, and moldy. Some of the toilets are missing their seats, or the seats are so broken that they dig into your back. We also didn’t understand why cars are already driving across the campground as early as 6:30 a.m. That doesn’t happen at other campgrounds. So, lack of sleep is inevitable. The small restaurant serves good food, but the portion sizes aren’t worth the price. The wine is basically from a carton—completely overpriced and undrinkable. Pitch plan does not show this ☹️ Cleaning staff only clean "round corners", so that even the newer San-Haus 3 is soon rotten (see picture). doesn't belong here, but it has to be mentioned: you wannabe campers - nobody needs you! - no greetings - build up with gloves 😎 - selfish to the power of three - Motto - everyone away, here we come 🤪 - etc.A nice place with room for improvementAll in all a very nice CP with super nice staff!
